    TilingSprite on Android 4.x.x

    I have TilingSprite as a background. On any other devices everything looks ok. On Android 4 there is a problem When I use background.tilePosition.x += xy and background.tilePosition.x grows the images appear pixelated. The bigger x position, the lower quality - some big square chunks instead of details When I use background.tilePosition.x += xy ; background.tilePosition.x %= TextureWidth I don't have this pixelizations but when the x moves from the near width size to 0 the background moves several times ahead or behind the coordinates. This happens on Android 4 but works fine on desktop, newer android versions and ios. I think its webgl related but I'm not sure how to fix it.

    Render groups maybe, but you only get like 3. The way it is they will always zfight if they are the same size and occupying the same space. So try to think of an alternative to get the same effect that you want to achieve.

    Hi @laduree77, I have tested the code I showed you before and it works for me (Phaser 2.10.1). Here is the problem in your new code: this.world.bounds.height = this.height - 50; "this.height" is undefined. You have to use "this.game.height" or "game.height". After that, you don't need apply physics to the ground. Right now, the call to makeObstacles in the update method isn't doing anything because it needs a parameter (number of obstacles to generate). But if you generate obstacles in the update () (it is executed 30/60 times per second), you must implement a method to destroy the obstacles that you don't need or in a few seconds you will have thousands, with which you will have performance problems and the game will be unplayable. The main idea of the code that I showed you is the reuse of the obstacles (I created 4, but obviously you can put the ones you want) to avoid to collapse the resources and the creation of new objects (slower than reusing existing ones).     @Deltakosh it may be a trivial question but how do you remove actions in actionManager.actions ? I tried a loop but I don't know which function I should call to remove the action

    Hi again, @hansnolte. Yep, you are right. Sorry about that. I was working ONLY on activating a tolerable camera (no white screen)... that showed your model. I figged you could add camera.useFramingBehavior or camera.collisionRadius yourself, once you got a working camera. https://www.babylonjs-playground.com/indexstable#1CMD3G#75 There ya go. This one uses line 28 as its collision tester. I think this is an OLD method of loading scenes/models. We have a more-modern system... called the AssetsManager. https://www.babylonjs-playground.com/#28YUR5#323 There is an assetsManager load of Suzy (with collision avoidance installed). The loader APPEARS-TO ignore any cameras or lights arriving in the .babylon file... because we are using an .addMeshTask in line 22. But I am very inexperienced using the assetsManager. Mostly, I just find/build helpful playgrounds. I'm really not sure WHAT the assetsManager meshTask does with cameras and lights that are inside a .babylon file WITH the wanted mesh. Maybe others can help teach us. The assetsManager docs tells nothing about lights and cameras (non-mesh), but maybe I need to read more carefully. I hope I was more helpful this time. Sorry again. Update: Oops. I had a little mistake in #322, so I fixed it... and changed above link to #323. (I had TWO suzy.checkCollisions = true;)

    Hi Deltakosh, many thanks for your answer. I can't get it to work in the playground. If I paste the JS-Code I get an error message. "You must at least create a camera." Thank you, the Camera is in my collisions.babylon, and that's what it's about. Sorry! I'm not a coder. I was just looking for an easy way to put 3D objects on the web.     Hi, you can do this with BABYLON.WeirdSpriteManager: https://www.babylonjs-playground.com/#2A9U5V#1 The manager has the function pickSpritePixel, which takes a child sprite as argument, and returns the pixel under the pointer. It does this by putting a plane mesh at the sprite position with the right rotation and scale, then pick that mesh to get the image (x, y) coordinates, and then get the pixel from the imageData like in your jsfiddle. It uses its own copy of the sprite image.
