    The Wingnut Chronicles

    Though I would give you an explanation. Here is your box with a diagonal plane added. Note that the plane is a rectangle as one side lies along the edge of the box (size 10) and the other side is a diagonal of a face of the box (size 10 * sqrt(2) approx = 14.14) After rotation of PI/4 about the x axis the plane is horizontal. Now you want to rotate the box about the Y axis so that the corner of the plane indicated by the yellow arrow is on the Z axis pointed to by the red arrow. Looking down on the plane The yellow corner needs to be rotated about the Y axis through the angle marked in white. Since this angle is in a rectangle it cannot be PI/4. Good old trigonometry gives the angle as atan(5/(5 * sqrt(2) ) approx = 0.615479708670387 When you want it in the form PI/a then a = PI/0.615479708670387 = 5.10429931211954 = 5.1 to 1 dec place. So for the second rotation you need box.rotate(BABYLON.Axis.Y, Math.PI/5.10429931211954, BABYLON.Space.WORLD); or in approximation box.rotate(BABYLON.Axis.Y, Math.PI/5.1, BABYLON.Space.WORLD); Here is a PG https://www.babylonjs-playground.com/#M3AQS#3 You can take out the comments to see the effects and the animation. Mmmmm keep thinking I was going to tell you something earlier - couldn't have been important.

    For years I imagined making a completely FMV interactive story/puzzle game (think Myst but made entirely with videos). Last year I finally got around to figuring out how to make the game mechanics work, and little by little put together Yeli Orog. The game was made with HTML5, CSS, and Javascript, and packaged with Electron. The game takes place in Asturias, Spain and was filmed in various locations there. If you are a fan of Myst-like games, interactive stories with puzzle elements, and FMV games, I think you will appreciate Yeli Orog. If you have any questions about the game let me know. Here is the steam page, the game will be released on July 13th: https://store.steampowered.com/app/886270/Yeli_Orog/ Here is the trailer: Some in-game screenshots:

    WebVR Controller Forward Vector

    Yp @davrous ... Have you ever noticed when using the headset in webvr, if you turn your headset (or body while wearing headset) around 180 degress... The controller is STILL BEHIND you... the laser beam and the webvr DOT is showing the correct way but the beam is coming from underneath and behind you... its still in the position as if your rotation was 0 or facing front from where you sync you controller. When in the regular oculus interface and you turn around the controller is still in front (and slight offset to right if set to right handed) of you and the beam does not look like its coming from behind and underneath you. I think we should be taking into account our front vector or head rotation or something to offset that... What do you think ???

    The Wingnut Chronicles

    Here is an explanation which I know was not me originally. This is because if I had I would remember and I pride myself on my memory. Why I can tell you all sorts of things about my childhood and teenage years. Only the other day I was saying to, emm thingy, you know he used to .... Well I am sure you do not want to know about that and I had something important to tell you. It couldn't have been that important or I would have remembered what it was. Bye for now, good chatting.

    Roadmap?

    I am very excited to see work to be done on the editor side, I am using Panda2 mainly because it is something I can code by hand and is convenient to use, not too big, I need that hand made coding precision because I am interfacing a lot... personally I am not into visual editor, so please add as much as possible editor functions and you'll make me happy ^^ (hope to see a quick jump to function/classes definition )

    Trivia game examples

    With basic JS knowledge you can pull this off fairly easy. The decisions you need to make is how to represent the questions visually and how to do input/validation. Remember BJS is just the graphics engine, your Trivia Engine structure can be anything in the background to organize the data. You might even be able to find a like a external library for handling the trivia structure. Maybe start with creating a way to display the trivia questions on planes like cards, and figure out how you are going to handle input. A simple JS Object like { id:1, question:"How does one make a trivia game?" answers : [ "You dont.", "A little bit at a time", "Is this a trick question", ], answerValues:[ 0,1,0.5 ] } Make a bunch of those and start with that.

    There will be multiple routes, so the component will be mounted/unmounted. It's the reducer that maintains minimum state - I'm assuming you maintain your "Single Page Application" throughout and that state is available when switching tabs in your app.

    Hi @espace, I think that directly is not possible. But you can make your own wrapper function for "game.add.tween". Here a simple wrapper ( http://phaser.io/sandbox/BFoPWrWT ) : // Function to wrap game.add.tween function tweenWrapper(obj){ game.add.tween(obj.target).to(obj.properties,obj.duration,obj.ease,obj.autoStart,obj.delay,obj.repeat,obj.yoyo); } function create() { var sprite = game.add.sprite(0, 0, 'phaser'); var config={ target: sprite, properties : { y:150, x:100, }, duration : 1000, ease : Phaser.Linear, autoStart : true, delay:10, repeat : 0, yoyo:false }; tweenWrapper(config); } Regards.
