  1. Hi people!, Has someone an idea how to implement a cubemap vr, (left right eye)? Maybe babylon is only for real geometry, but a mixture of real geometry and vr cubemap as enviroment is a cool idea, I post an example later what I mean.
  2. hello, we are looking for a freelancer with knowledge in babylon.js and programming course. the tasks are html5 through php to babylon.js, for a project, as a freelancer. if you have knowledge of German better!.
  3. Hi people, a question, I want to turn on a menu when I put a point on a mesh, in this case a crosshair over a sphere. but when I move the menutrigger in the .y = 1 position, it does not work. is then the height of the ray is no longer correct? I want to have the ray in the same angle as the camera, so i can still hit the menutrigger if the menutrigger is on other positions. or the approach is wrong? http://www.babylonjs-playground.com/#2GQ27P#1
  4. Hi guys, I have a new problem when I run the application local, chrome and firefox conditionally block the content .. Chrome says: " Image from origin 'file://' has been blocked from loading by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy: Invalid response. Origin 'null' is therefore not allowed access. " Chrome block all textures, Firefox just a few, IE show all textures online runs everything. is that really CORS? or I have missed something?
  5. @wingnut, http://www.bmw-autos...ch/de-de/stand/ No, I have not made this, it was an example, mine is not finished yet. I'll post when done. @hit2501 that could be a nice approach, I try..
  6. I'm doing a 360 panorama with several rooms, text photo info points video etc. like this.. http://www.bmw-autosalon.ch/de-de/stand/ .. and there you can see how the images are loaded progressively. so I wanted something similar with a maximum code reuse, and with the ability to save unnecessary resources in small devices. the whole thing is quite simple with Babylon, and does not have much code, so I can write a version for each device. but I wanted one for all
  7. @Wingnut - yes , so both, during load process first quick and fast in low res then medium and then finally fully res. That was my thought at the beginning, then for mobile we stop the process in medium or low res. so, I wanted to do it with the assetsManager if he could load cubemap textures
  8. ok thanks, I'll check if mobile or desk and just generate different skyboxes
  9. Hi all, I would like to load the textures for a cubeTexture in different sizes, so that first only a small resolution is loaded and then the normal textures. like LOD I would like to use the assetsManager? var assetsManager = new BABYLON.AssetsManager(scene); var textureTask = assetsManager.addTextureTask("image task", "example/blabla.png");//?url textureTask.onSuccess = function(task) { //my skybox function elsewhere createSkybox(task.texture);// dont work console.log("cubetexture loaded"); } assetsManager.load(); //my skybox function elsewhere createSkybox("example/blabla");// fine
