    You need to implement delta time for spinning, it happened with WEBGL. but it is not that big deal if it is slow when 4 tabs opened. 
    for the momeny, you better enable gc to be auto. but it norally working well with Webgl, it will release texture you havent used in GPU. for rest of them, you have to investigate your code. my game size is extra hd and texture quality is extremely high, 60 fps and upto 300 mb, then ram goes down. you gotta check your code to avoid memory leak

    Canvas? You can look how CanvasTinter works and do something like that, but with different blendMode. But if you are treating pixi like a holy cow, well...  pre-render stuff in photoshop, change the texture every time, that's the easiest way.

    You should register your own plugin that does the other thing, then set "sprite.pluginName='myAwesomePlugin'".

    Just in case someone needs it (cause I did). This configuration change the template to export json file compatible with Phaser game.load.atlas function

    This is an error in Phaser CE 2.7.8 - upgrade to 2.7.9 to resolve it (available from GitHub and npm)

    It is recommended way to do namespace same as Csharp. it becomes so easy to manage. it is same for unity as well, brilliant brilliant and super brilliant to use namespace

    You dont have to use pixi-layers plugin, its just a handy shortcut. Also , please look at https://github.com/pixijs/pixi-tilemap , that's for tiles. Also, https://github.com/Alan01252/pixi-tilemap-tutorial - good tutorial for tiles.

    You're doing very good job. I recommend to try do it with namespaces. Its tricky, but result is much easier to handle than import/export.
    I'm setting up something like that right now, but with all custom things, no webpack, karma, everything is special optimized for big games.
    It'll be boilerplate optimized for production. When you have megabytes of code things become very diffirent

    it is kind of hard to make the plugin, it will be easy to modify pixijs. Hopefully we can get it in the next build of pixijs
