  4. I worked it out. I used a secondary object as a pivot and then added a revoluteConstraint between the two.
  5. I'm making a pachinko style game and would like to create an obstacle which is a static object that will rotate about a pivot when it's collided with. I'm using P2 for the physics. Does anyone know how to I could add this? At the moment I am setting static to true for all obstacles, but I'd like to change it for some obstacles to make the environment a bit more dynamic. Not sure how well I have described this so please do let me know if you need to know anything else.
  6. This looks really clever. Sounds like it would be fun too. Regarding the tiles (you asked about it earlier ) I think the red stone contrasts well with the bluey backgrounds - but as others said - it's quite noisy. The style of the new tiles works well, but I think going back to the original red/ brown colours will make it a bit less dull looking and bring it to life more. Either way though - it still looks awesome

  8. I think this looks really nice and the animations and interactivity are great - but playing with a trackpad on a laptop is almost impossible. I can see that it would be nice to play on a smartphone though.
  9. I'd love to get a book/ books like this Personally I'd like Zelda style demo. Obviously not a complete game but simple top down game with doors and keys and maybe something that lets you go in and out of houses (switching maps).

  11. @valueerror - when you say cocoonjs is crashing for no reason what do you see? I've noticed the game freezing and becoming unreponsive - seemingly randomly. I submitted a bug report about it here: For me the bug seems to be related to the leaderboards, or other times the game interacts with gamecenter.

  13. I think this is quite a nice start for the game. I like it I think with a few tweaks it could be better though. I'd make the bullets and explosions a lot bigger. They don't need to be more powerful - they should just look more powerful. I'd also change the explosion colour so it's not red (spaceships don't bleed ). It worked well for me though - and I am intrigued to see where this goes. Do keep updating
  14. I've started thinking about my next game which I want to be a platform one. Since I want levels with angles, materials and other fancy things I'm planning to use p2, but I've noticed in the demos (and in my own experiments) that there seems to be quite a lot of movement in the collisions with objects intersecting when they collide. I assume this is because of the calculations that p2 is making, and reading the p2 docs it looks like I can tweak the iterations and tolerance and whatnot to reduce this (I know this will have a performance cost). I was wondering if anyone knew how to tweak these properties inside Phaser itself. I tried searching the docs but can't find any references to the settings. Thanks
  15. @Rich - I really like the look of PhoneGap but for less technical people like myself I just don't know how to use it. CocoonJS has a lot of flaws but the basic usage is super simple - and I can make use of advertising and other features relatively easily. PhoneGap on the other hand is just not very friendly for me. I'd happily switch to something simpler if I could but PhoneGap (and similar) are anything but simple
