  1. I probably should have made the game characters using a toon shader, possibly with outlines. I guess next game I will(once I mastered the technique, as you can see, there are some issues with the outlines and shading). Here's some of the models in said shader, and I really should have made a game with the purple haired princess.
  2. @EvaFatal Mines is 9602. I've edited the original post to include the Desktop HTML5 version, with keyboard and gamepad support. I uploaded it to kongregate with leaderboard support so people can compete to see who can get the highest score. https://www.kongregate.com/games/Froton/nighty-knight
  3. Thanks for the honest and direct critique. As for characters, I know the two available aren't enough for character diversity. Aside from the 3 other wip models of fairy, gunslinger, and dragon, there are 3 more I wanted to include, a heavy hitting ogre, a versatile gryphon, and a defensive style amphibian girl. Here's some sketches of them. Each already have a move list to implement if they hit the game, for example, here's amphibian girl's: She could catch those toxic projectiles in-game and send back a projectile of her own, the technique is timing based though. She uses a different style of fighting though than the two characters in game, thus no charging moves.
  4. Thanks, what do you think of the gameplay by the way? Too complex? Complex enough? Okay? I tried to make it skill based and not just another tap, tap, tap game. Pressing different button combinations for new moves and stuff while having controls smooth enough on touchscreen for it.
  5. HTML5 demo(edit: my bad, it was linking to the main page instead of the html5 game itself): Mobile: http://nightyknight.froton.xyz/demo/index.html Desktop(keyboard and gamepad support): https://www.kongregate.com/games/Froton/nighty-knight Website: http://nightyknight.froton.xyz/ GAMEPLAY INSTRUCTIONS: Basics: Virtual Stick: MOVEMENT. Hold down then move in any direction, will walk the character for as long as you hold it. Red Button: ATTACK Green Button: JUMP Combination Moves: DASH: Hold Movement then press JUMP. CHARGE MODE: Hold ATTACK for more than half a second. SPECIAL ATTACK: Press either JUMP or ATTACK during charge mode(at least 1 second charge). Advanced Moves: DASH ATTACK: Press ATTACK during DASH. WAKE UP SPECIAL: Press ATTACK or JUMP(Princess only) repeatedly while knocked down. WAKE UP DASH(Knight Only): Hold MOVEMENT in any direction while knocked down. My experiment with using 3D graphics after learning programs like Blender. Turned out better than I could have ever imagined, I definitely prefer working in 3D over 2D. I did the illustrations as well, was trying to go for a game intuitive, toonish character design. I've attached some concept art, which includes characters that where to appear in the game, as well as already made 3D models that didn't make it in due to time and money constraints. Gameplay of Knight(GUI is different due to it being an older version): https://imgur.com/W8Mflxz Princess gameplay: https://imgur.com/buUtIrh If I had more time, I could have put this move in the game. There you have it, a melee character(Knight) and the Princess shoots lasers for long ranged enthusiasts. There where 5 characters in total planned for initial release, the dragon, gunslinger, and fairy had 3D models that where still being worked on. Fairy(The concept art is her transformed state): Gunslinger(Red caped form is a transformation). Fighting Dragon Concept Art and 3D model wip. I wish I had the time and money to get them up to speed, as well as some extra effects. Anyways, enjoy the game, let me know what you think(and what your high score is). In the button below is the concept art and various other characters.

    How marketjs works?

Html5 feels like a Wild West platform, people getting jipped left and right. What other sites aside from MarketJS gut people of their games?

is webview+ supported on ios ?

For some reason, my html5 game only worked with canvas+ from cocoon.io, webview and webview+ both crashed the game after the menu screen.

What is the best framework for make a RPG game

Isn't RPGmaker MV tailored towards making RPG games specifically for html5 and mobile platforms that support touch features??? Although it is probably more advantageous to make it from as "scratch" as possible such as phaser or a more generalized game engine than RPGmaker MV. Since it specializes specifically in RPG style games, its rigid and incapable of making any other game type without extraneous work. PLUS, if you are looking to put adverts in your RPG game, I hear MV is having problems with that, or that it is highly difficult to add into the game.

    Wilds.io - Multiplayer hack'n'slash

This game is impressive, and your approach to how data is handled in multiplayer via a tweening method resulted in an incredibly smooth experience with little to no lag. Amazing! I felt kind of skilled being a single axe, no name midget actually taking out larger players who use two axes.

    Super Jump Girl (smb1 clone)

The slippery controls make the game quite a challenge, but the feel and presentation are remarkably authentic in terms of 8 bit style.

    Rayburst Official Release!

RayBurst is an action-packed, high-speed side-scroller game. Pick from 4 unique playable characters, each with their own strenghts, in order to combat hordes of dragons on various missions. Let me know what you think! Html5 demo: http://www.rayburst.net/game/index.html Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fulgryph.rayburstGP Amazon Underground: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B01G5U97Z2/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_akmtxb0CJ9ME5 2nd Trailer: I submitted to Tizen as well, but it hasn't finished validation yet.

    [GameSalad] Rayburst

Desktop HTML5 demo{a phone at the level of iphone6 can handle the game flawlessly though, anything less, not so much} http://www.rayburst.net/125testing/RB07/index.html These are the controls:(in asdw, hjkl, and uiop groups) ASDW = Movement H = Special Attack J= Normal Attack K= Signature Movement (Propulsion, hovering, and flying.) L= Power Up (All the others) / Reload (Phreit Nor's gun) U = Angle Control / Tech Powerup {Grafto} I = SKILL switch {Gotta be over lv.1, Max level is 6 for 7 skills per character at lv6. You buy books from the turtle under Adventure>Shop) O = Energy recooperation {The yellow bar, also works on the red bar, which is the equivalent of acid build up in your muscles) P = Zoom in / out Spacebar = Inventory where you use gems to increase offense or defense. More gems equals more time powered up. This game has a level of depth, rather than being a 1 to 2 button masher, for example, H+J will combo into a new move depending on the character, such as Phreit Nor's Tri-Assault gatling or Grafto's loop-de-loop off a Power Joust. Gamesalad, the engine I used, has an html5 export, I'm not sure how it compares to game maker studio's or construct2's html5 export. I've been able to use the html5 files to wrap and create a standalone executable for Windows using Crosswalk. I plan to eventually make a steam game via this or a similar method: Steam "concepts" page: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=658022904 Trailer:
  13. Are there any ad networks that work on both mobile and desktop html5 games? Or at least, that work on desktop html5 without having to submit to a portal? I ask since I just tried out leadbolt's test ads and noticed it works on mobile devices, but not on desktop. It looks like Admobs only works on mobile as well. Google hasn't been very helpful at all, the results showing up are for mobile ad networks. So I take it no desktop ads? Edit: Would this site be good for what I'm seeking? http://www.ad4game.com/
  14. In my game, I put the option to turn enemy health display On or Off.

    Ray Burst {Formerly known as Burst Blade}

Release is probably a month away. Anyway, some art to show: These are the four playable characters, let me know which you would pick. Here is the full list of characters that were possible candidates for the game. The lobster in the second row and the pipe smoking dragon near the middle were strong candidates to be playable characters.
