Hello everyone, I just pushed a new update with : + New extremely strange critters + Some updated assets + A few code optimizations + Day/Night system Daytime in the game is now linked to the time IRL. Meaning that depending on the moment you are playing, you may land in a different scenery. The daytime will also influence the critters you see. As in real life, certain species can only be found at night or early in the morning. Can you file them all ? Try here : https://www.extrange-labs.com/exterium/ If you tried it before, and even if it is your first time, I am eager to hear what you think of it. Help me make something great out of it.

    Hello everyone, Hope you are doing good. Do you know any text effects library leveraging the canvas API? I am looking for something providing shadow/border customizations, little animations and other effects already available within the DOM. Actually FabricJS does that but I find it too much for what i want to do. Any ideas?
  8. Hello everyone, how are holidays going? When I send my non-developer friends a link to my games, they usually ask "Well, how do I install it?". I am pretty sure that you too had to answer this question before. For now, I usually resort to explaining that there is no installation needed, or to compiling an apk file for each update, but this has proven to be time consuming. Are there any other ways to address the issue? What worked for you?

    Hello everyone, I noticed a weird trend as soon as we start talking about code protection issues within html5 games /simple-page applications . Everyone seems to say that "as soon as it is Javascript, you can't hide anything" . Meaning you can't prevent someone to uncover the hidden solution to level 5 by looking at your code, or simply to copy it. This spawns a lot of issues, especially piracy and game-design related. So, what are the most effective protection mechanisms you can add to your html5 game?

  15. Hello everyone, It have been a while. This is the result of my third attempt to make a game(at least a playable prototype) within 40 hours. The prototype is playable at http://mionzin.medsilegroup.com/ "Mionzin" ("Jar of flame", in Fongbe, my mother tongue) is a 2D shooter, inspired by the classic Breakout arcade game. This is a bit rough, maybe incomplete, as i didn't have enough time to polish it, and had to cut a few features. I'm planning to release some updates as I add new content/features. Monzin have been tested on desktop (non-IE), but it should THEORITICALLY work on touch devices too. Use mouse(finger) to move the jar around and left click(tap) to shoot. Please take a few minutes to check it out, and tell me what you think of it. All remarks are welcomed. Thanks
