  1. 500 HTML5 games in 4 years.

It must be a huge party whenever a new publisher says he wants the whole catalogue
  2. Is Pixi GameEngine

Call it a "tool" and just focus on discussing the detailed requirements of the job
  3. Is Pixi GameEngine

Well, it's a renderer... ;] The authors themselves call it "The HTML5 Creation Engine", but then there's also "Create beautiful digital content with the fastest, most flexible 2D WebGL renderer". I wouldn't worry that much on the terminology though.
  4. Yeah, right now it's more like crazy market with stock prices going up and down all the time rather than a stable currency with reasonable exchange rate, but there are already some interesting ways to use blockchain with cryptocurrencies, and the pioneers may (or may not) have an advantage in the future.
  5. I have to admit I'm also looking into cryptocurrencies, expecially mining them as an alternative to adverts. It's something new as a concept, so it could work, but can also be a total flop - time will tell. Anyway, good luck with your endeavours!
  6. js13kGames 2017

Winners of the js13kGames 2017 competition have been announced: http://2017.js13kgames.com/#winners Thank you so much to all who participated - I hope you had fun while doing so!
  7. js13kGames 2017

It's that time of the year again - time to start thinking about the js13kGames competition. The sixth edition will start on August 13th, 13:00 CEST and will run for a month. For those who don't know it yet: it's an online competition for HTML5 game developers where the fun part is the file size limit set to 13 kilobytes. Check the rules for details. There are always notable judges, lots of cool prizes, and free t-shirts for all entries shipped worldwide. See the forum topics from previous years for reference: 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016. Follow the compo profiles on Twitter and Facebook to be up to date with all the news and announcements. I'm looking for prizes and sponsors, so if you can help with either of those please get in touch! So, who's going to participate?
  8. js13kGames 2017

While all are waiting for the final results, here are the Community Awards: Full list: http://2017.js13kgames.com/#winners-community
  9. PLAY TESTERS?

  10. Virtual Reality, VR with Phaser

Happy to help. You know, A-Frame is totally capable of serving as a game framework (see 28 examples of that from js13kGames 2017), I've used it for that purpose myself many times too. If you need physics etc you'll find components in the Registry.
  11. Virtual Reality, VR with Phaser

It does not have such mode. Phaser is 2D while VR is 3D. You could make a 2D game inside 3D environment if you're crazy enough, but I suggest you should look into 3D frameworks like Babylon or PlayCanvas.
  12. js13kGames 2017

Great to have your entry Mattia! So, this year we broke the all-time record with 254 entries! That's seriously impressive, thank you to all who participated! Play the games here: http://js13kgames.com/entries/2017
  13. Props for using Enclave Phaser Template
  14. Does Phaser run in Smart TV browsers?

I've tested it and it works fine on my Smart TV without any errors, so I can't say where you're having issues. It's probably because of your TV rather than the game itself, but no idea why.
  15. js13kGames 2017

It was, but we were able to get it back ^^
  16. js13kGames 2017

The competition has started! This year's theme is: lost. Good luck and have fun!
  17. Does Phaser run in Smart TV browsers?

Phaser is definitely able to run games on Smart TVs, see this one for example: https://hacks.mozilla.org/2016/01/building-games-for-firefox-os-tv/ Although without the source code I have no idea why yours is not working properly.
  18. js13kGames 2017

Thanks for maintaining it, I'm sure some devs will use it during the compo! On a different note - GitHub just posted a cool article with some nice entries from last years, etc: https://github.com/blog/2409-build-a-game-in-13kb-or-less-with-js13kgames Also, updating the prizes list: - 5 × NodeBB hosting - 5 × Cloud9 IDE subscription - 10 × JSBin Pro account - 10 × Glitchbuster game Yup, Glitchbuster is the game from last year's compo, just like Evil Glitch.
  19. Great to hear about the progress, and good luck finishing the game!
  20. JavaScript Framework's

Check the html5gameengine.com website for an overview on the most popular ones, and jsbreakouts.org if you want to compare the source code of some of them when building an example 2D Breakout game.
