  1. Higher or Lower Card Game

Hi all, I've just released a new game to the world and wanted to post it here for feedback and criticism. It's called Higher or Lower, a card game where you guess if the next card in the deck will be higher or lower than the card currently on screen. I've incorporated quite a few cardbacks that the player can select to help increase time spent in the game and the artwork was created by my girlfriend. I think the art style makes the game stand out from other higher or lower card games, certainly from the ones on Google Play. Additionally, I've added sort of a status smiley face to show how well you are doing in the game, the more you get wrong the more the face requires medical attention, it's a similar idea to the Ouch Face in Doom. The game will work on both desktop and mobile devices. It's been tested in various Android devices (Nexus 6, Galaxy S2, Nexus 7) and iOS devices (iPhones 6s, iPhones 5s) and I've not noticed any errors or anything. So please enable audio (which is OFF by default), play the game and let me know how you get on! P.S. if you win or lose, click/tap on the big face for an audible...surprise
  2. Hello, I'm developing a mobile card game with Phaser, right now is in alpha stage so i'm looking for one or more people to play the game, help me smooth some game mechanics and balance the cards (for example: "this card is too strong", "this card effect is useless"...) Game description: Lylium Legends (Temporary name), is a fast-paced card game in wich players have 5 cards in their hand/deck, victory goes to the player who defeat all opponent cards. Each card have an attack and defence value plus a combat skill, however some cards have a "legacy" skill this mean when the card is defeated that card skill is added to the next cards played, so the order in wich cards are played can completly change the result. Screenshoots: https://ibb.co/fvQz1Q https://ibb.co/ncQMFk https://ibb.co/ioFMFk https://ibb.co/j2PRgQ I've submited an alpha test only on the play store right now, so the requirement is to have an android device with android version 4.0+ You can contact me on discord (Kurtis#4839) or by email info@fantasywarlords.com thanks

Hello I am a student that current studying computer science. I have programmed a card game called Cucumber. What is Cucumber Card Game? ----------------------------------------------- Cucumber is a kind of trick-taking game, in which the object is not to win the last trick. To make this more difficult, there is a rule that in each trick players must either overtake or sacrifice their lowest card. To be safe from losing, you therefore need not only a low card for the last trick, but also high cards for overtaking, so that your low card(s) do not have to be given up prematurely. 8. 52 Pickup Plus

Yesterday I released the first Android game created using my SCL game engine. (SCL+Cordova) This version of 52 Pickup has a twist in that you need to remove cards off the top of the pile in order to form straights and sets. I first published the game around 1992-94. http://upwithabang.com/52Pickup/boxed.html Android download here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.linewave.pickup You can play in a touch-enabled browser here: http://playscl.com/g/52pickup/ Preview video: SCL is a language I created over the past 6 years that is interpreted by Javascript at run time. Essentially it handles the canvas rendering for you using declarative "create" statements. The web site (see my signature) has a lot more information and a developer studio if you want to try it out.

  10. Hi there, Well this is my first post but it is most definitely not gonna be my last. Like it or lump you are all about to come on a journey. My small team of guys have been asked to develop a Deck building, collectable card game online. The game is currently only going to be designed for use via a browser and mainly a desktop game rather than mobile. The client is aware we have no experience in this or in game building in general but we do build systems and websites for clients and he is happy for us to lean and grow with the development of the game. The game needs to be multiplayer with leagues and an AI for single players as well as if a scheduled game doesn’t happen so that an outcome can be determined. The alpha version of the game just needs to be single player this is our target for about 8-10 months away. My questions to yourselves is do you have any recommendations on what framework we should look at learning and building this type of game on. We will obviously be looking at integrating socket.io and im hoping the game can be built in HTML 5. So far it’s looking like the game play of the game will be along the lines of http://itcg.eredan.com/?aw=www Also tyrant unleased Anyway I know not a massive amount to go one but any pointers would great. Thanks in advance. Mick

  12. A Facebook version of our desktop card game has recently been released under a new name - Square Solitaire Duel. The game was previously integrated with the Polish social network, Nasza-Klasa, as Poker Solitaire. Since then, we have developed the game further. HERE IS A DIRECT GAME LINK. The rules and gameplay are the same as they were in the Polish version. The game with its features is more like a dueling game of multi-player solitaire than a typical poker match. We hope you will enjoy the game as we do! Check out the trailer video, the game features, and join us in a game now! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DhzvATafcE&feature=youtu.be Features of Square Solitaire Duel: Duel 1 vs 1 asynchronous - wait up to 24 hours for an opponents response. Freemium monetization: two virtual currencies: coins and gold. Weekly tournament Wheel of fortune as a daily bonus - players can win game boosters, drinks, gold and coins. Boosters are our original feature for the game. They allow players the option to see the next two cards from the deck, change the placement of two cards, withdraw the last used card, or reject the last card. Drinks are an addition to make the game more entertaining. Anyone can buy a drink to make the duel more enjoyable!
