  1. Hello, We are a French indie dev studio based in Paris : http://www.pinpinteam.com Few years ago, we have developed web multiplayer games based on flash : http://www.jeux-gratuits.com/jeux-multijoueurs.html and today we need to port those flash games on html5 We have already started the job. Examples of Yahtzee : http://www.jeux-gratuits.com/jeu-yahtzee-multijoueur.html (You can switch to flash and html5 version on the main page) We have done the porting of 3 of the 29 games (Rummy, Yahtzee and cheekers) Few weeks ago, the freelance developer who handle this job has quit for a full-time position So we are looking for a new developer who can restart the job for 2 or 3 more ports. Objective : Port this game (http://www.jeux-gratuits.com/jeu-mahjong-multijoueur.html) runing on flash with Smart Fox Server 1 to an HTML5 game with Smart Fox Server 2 - You'll get all source code from previous ports (Rumy, Yahtzee, Cheeckers). Lobby and all other UI stuff are same for all games. Those first 3 ports were done with the Cocos-2D JS framework. - You'll get the Flash source code from the Flash Game version - Mainly you should implement game logic for the game you need to port - Generally you should make all game logic (Client/html5 and Server/Java) and insert art that we provide you - We are the owner of all the source code you will do for the port - We need a "free-of-bugs" build. QA tester from our studio will QA the game. - Our previous freelance can be consulted and contacted if you have questions - If the job for this first game is well done, we can have a long-term partnership. To apply : - Send me an email to [email protected] with your basic information and some references (portfolio, website, previous work) - It's a freelance job, remote only - Then I will send you back an email with further information, It's a PAID JOB, Have a nice day, Géraud
  2. Hi, We are looking for cocos2d-js freelancers that are looking for on going projects. We currently have a bunch of games that have already been created in cocos2d-js. We are looking for a freelancer to clone these games (all source code for the games is in git repos) and then make a new game using new graphics (we will provide), new sound effects (we will provide). The new game will have its own git repo and be its own game in its own right, it is just based largely on the code of another game. The games have bonus games in them, the game cloned will be the one that already has most of the bonus features / games in it and then normally just one more bonus game will need adding within the new game to give us a new game base. Kind regards, Rob.

    MosquiNo!

MosquiNo! Play it here. Smash these mosquitos before they do horrible things to you! There are 4 kind of mosquitos to fight! Mostly annoying so I hope you enjoy it. Introducing the mosquitos:Normal - The one that is slow but comes in numbers.Pinky - Fast! The one who will get through your defenses.Abberant - This green one is smarter than you think.Mosquilla - The big boss. Very slow and just takes time to die. Update/Fixes 10/6/2015 - Increased the resolution to 480 x 690 (flexible to 480 x 854), which also makes the hand smaller, hence greater difficulty. 11/9/2015 Gameplay - The maximum number of abberant (green) mosquitos is increased per session- Slightly increase the spawn rate of abberant mosquitos- Increases the spawn rate of normal (black) mosquitos Technical - Screen should now be flexible for all mobile devices (no more black borders on portrait orientation) Device Compatibility Recommended: iPod Touch 5 (iOS 8, Safari) Playable & Tested: iPod Touch 5 (iOS 8, Safari), iPod Touch 4 (iOS 6, Safari), Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (Stock, Chrome), Asus ZenFone 4 (Stock, Chrome), Lenovo P70-A (Stock, Chrome), iPhone 4, Galaxy Tab 2 --- I made this quick casual game yesterday, also to familiarize myself with Cocos2d-JS and get back on track on HTML5 web game development. I was a user here but I kinda forget my account so here's a new one with a game. Along with new identity as anno8. so I hope it's okay. I haven't setup my direct website yet, so here's the Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/anno8games. Like it if you want to know every progress of each new game as I use it as my devlog! My plan is to create new playable mobile web games every week, so I supposedly be posting more games by next week, hopefully with a better quality. If you have any feedback, or have issues on your phone/mobile devices, please let me know cause it will help me judge the game engine, and of course, the game itself. Thank you!
  4. I wanna try to make Heroes 3 like game - Web based. I'm very confused - what game framework should i use for the battle system. I did some research and for now i think that there are two that should do the work. PhaserJS with isometric plugin - http://rotates.org/phaser/iso/ And the other one is Cocos2d-JS. I have none experience with either of them, but it seems that the more popular option is Cocos2dJS. PhaserJS in other hand seems little easy to use and have nice plugin functionality that allows better customization. Also i think to try to make the backend with ASP.WebAPI combined with SignalR. I also think that some of the UI of the game can be created with AngularJS. I don't know guys - what do you think about that ? Am i headed to the right direction ? Do you think it is possible to accomplish such project with those technologies ?
  5. Is anyone using or planning on using Cocos2d-js now or in the near future? What's your experience with it compared to other frameworks such as Phaser? I ask because I'm looking to target different frameworks from my game editor, but don't know which would be the best to start with.
