The gameplay is focused on completing quests throughout four acts in a battle against Nalatos and his reign of chaos. Gameplay places a heavy emphasis on skill-based gameplay by rewarding the player with exp and magic find bonuses for completing long chain combos. Chain combos are achieved by killing multiple mobs without leaving combat. The more risk you take, the greater the rewards become! With 14 classes, three difficulty levels, and talent trees, there are hundreds of hours of gameplay waiting for your enjoyment. 10. Hi Guys, Finally I can encourage myself to post my WIP game here.. So, the game is called "Knight&Wizard The Runaway". It's a 2 lane running game which you control 2 character at once, the Knight and the Wizard. The knight can only attack mortal creature, whereas the wizard can only attack magical creature. They are actually twins that has been separated since they were born, being captive by the evil wizards organization and now the're trying to break free. You have to jump to avoid the obstacle along the way and switch lane to banish the enemies from their path Gameplay video: http://youtu.be/tNrz6YFFERw Currently it's still on development, and lots of thing haven't been implemented yet. I'll update the post if it's already playable. thank you, hope you enjoy it
  11. Hey y'all! This is my first HTML5 game, but not by any means my first game. I absolutely adore procedurally generated content and randomized gameplay, something about having a different experience every time you play the game really scratches my itch, you know what I mean? I spent some time browsing roguebasin and the procedural content generation wiki and was inspired to make my own dungeon crawl. I've been learning full-stack javascript and a roguelike-like seemed a fun and exciting challenge. Here is what I have so far: visiting the site drops you into a new, unique, randomly generated five-level dungeonshare the unique URL it generates and anyone that browses that link joins you in the dungeonQWE/AD/ZXC keys correspond to NW, N, NE, W, E, SW, S, SE movement directions respectivelythe numeric keypad on full length keyboards also do eight direction movementmobile and tablet users can use onscreen directional buttonsevery dungeon has five levels, with increasing complexity (first level has 50 rooms, the fifth level has ~100)the dungeon generation algorithm puts the entrance in the first room it builds and the exit in the last room it builds, so most of the time it's a long and inconvenient path to the next floor of the dungeonstand on a stairwell and the ascend/descend button will appear in the UI, unless you're on the fifth floor and standing on the stairwell down, since there is no sixth floor (will be replacing the fifth floor staircase with the Amazing Macguffin that wins you the game)your ping is in the bottom right cornerthe game canvas changes responsively if you change the size of the browser window or if you rotate your mobile device7 random dungeon 'themes' randing from ice cavern to grassy fort to dank cellar, etc3 player classesfog of war, only draws tiles player has exploredphaser for the frontendnode.js backendYou can start a new game by visiting mppdl.cheesepencil.com You can invite a friend to join you by sending them the URL after you've entered a dungeon (it might look like 'mppdl.cheesepencil.com/dungeon/Prince-Moat' or something like that) You can see existing, populated games, their currently connected players, and some fun server stats at mppdl.cheesepencil.com/status, click on any existing game to join it. If the server is very laggy or unresponsive, or you consistently get pings over 200ms, try the alternate server at crowbarticklefight.no-ip.org:8085 (to make a new dungeon) and crowbarticklefight.no-ip.org:8085/status (to see existing, populated dungeons). Since I added the fog of war, it's almost playable on phones as crappy as the old iPhone 3g and the firefox phone (though I do not suggest you try it). TODO: magical monsterslootcombatplayer advancementplayer class differentiation (mage will have magic, rogue will have invisibility)potions and scrollsgeneral dungeon clutterlots and lots and lots of bug fixesI've been working on it every day for the last four weeks and hope to have it basically complete in another four weeks.

  13. Hello fellow HTML5 devs! I'd like to present you my first canvas game. It is a fantasy Action-Adventure called 'Ridane'. The project is still work in progress and in a very eary development state, but I think it's never to early to gather some feedback. Currently there is only one level available but it is filled with zombies only waiting to get beaten up . I know that the gameplay isn't that exciting by now, but I want to finish the first level, do some polishing and get rid of any remaining bugs before I continue with the next level and more features. In the following levels the player will be able to choose between a melee, ranged or magic equipment and they will also get some active skills depending on their class choice. I will also work on a 'block' feature for melee fighters, an 'aim' feature for ranged fighters and some kind of 'focus/channel mana' feature for mages. Thus the gameplay will be more diverse and the three classes will differ a little more. Preview of some unit graphics: I'm looking forward to your feedback and I very much appreciate every suggestion, found bug or criticism . But enough talking, you try out the game here. Don't forget to turn on the ingame sound! You can also take a look at the code on GitHub. One additional note: Unfortunately the game does not support mobile devices. The features I have planned and the therefore needed controls are not possible on mobile. I'll be supported by a frontend colleague very soon (I'm also a frontend dev), so the game should make some good progress in the next weeks and I will update you guys if there is interest for that. Cheers! Nico
  14. Update March 5th 2014: I've added iPhone support via media queries and a little detecion. Hi:) I've released a BETA of my game Nimian Legends. Its a lite RPG adventure you can play in your browser. It's set in the world of Nimian Legends, which is the setting for various 'Nimian' games ive made over the years. It includes Episode 1 which introduces you to the Empyre, its people and how it works. It works best in Safari and Chrome. Good in Firefox and iPad too. I havent tested Android yet but i think it will work. IE support is coming up too. The game is here: http://nimianlegends.com If youd like you can leave feedback on the website or in this forum. The basics are in place so now im looking to smooth out balance issues and any suggestions about things that should be fixed. Thanks for any feedback.
  15. Hi there, For the past few years, a friend and I have been developing an HTML5 online RPG called Conclave. You can play it (and get more info) at playconclave.com. In style, it's meant to capture the experience of playing a tabletop RPG like D&D or Pathfinder: there's an overarching story in our original fantasy setting, and quests are a mix of turn-based combats on battlemaps and text-based story decisions. You can play either solo or co-op. When you're in a co-op party, you can adventure in real time or take your turns separately whenever you have a free moment during the day. We've completed the game's first campaign of adventures, though we're still making improvements and adding polish to the UI. It's been a ton of work, in part because Conclave has a significant server-side component that keeps track of everything your party does so that players can catch up on what happened while they were offline. It's targeted primarily at desktop and tablet users. It works on most mobile devices, but you have to pinch and zoom since we haven't yet made a UI tailored for smaller screens. If you've got feedback or questions, I'd love to hear them. Thanks!
