  1. Hi We make LOTS of games - so I figured out it's better to have a single post I could update every time we publish a new game rather than post info about the games in separate posts. Atm. the BlackMoon Design team (consist of 2 full-time developers, 2 part-time developers and 2 graphic designers) made roughly 80 games. You can check them all here - http://m.blackmoondev.com All feedback is welcome:)
  2. Hello I currently have 2 games available for licensing. Word Craft and Tetrimino. Word Craft (https://www.pswebsolutions.co.uk/product-word-craft/) Find as many words as you can in the allotted time. Do this by tracing a line through the letters of the word you have in mind. When you release your mouse, the word will be counted if it is in the dictionary. You can connect letters that are horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. The string of letters must be in the correct order to count. Words start at two letters in length, and each correct word scores you points and rewards additional time. The game comes with a dictionary file so you can add additional words if needed and you are able to configure the letters that are generated so if you want more/less vowels/consonants this is possible. Tetrimino (https://www.pswebsolutions.co.uk/product-tetrimino) A remake/clone of the 1984 classic. The game is highly configurable to make game play as easy or as difficult as you like. Please contact me if you're interested. Regards, Paul.
  3. Edit by Rich (September 2016): Back in 2013 Mike created a web site (below) that allowed Phaser devs to list the games they'd made. You'll find over 400 games created with some of the earliest versions of Phaser. Lots of the links don't work any more, but some do, and it's a really interesting archive. It's not worth submitting your games to the list any longer, however I'm keeping it, and this thread, because people still post new games to this thread even today. If you do this, it's highly likely I'll see it, and add it to the Phaser web site. Mike's original message follows: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What I did started from personal need, but decided to share it and maybe improve it if it went bigger. Well since the engine is still new but there is quite a moving and I check every topic, and game that is made I have a phaser game list: http://pgl.ilinov.eu/

  7. Hi All! I'm a single indie game developer who has released games on steam, android, itch.io, gamejolt and kongregate etc. Though I felt like I hit a problem when it came to monetizing web games. I found with mobile games, advertising was the best way to earn. So of coarse earning from ad's with your small HTML5 games should be the best way to earn from web games but sites like kongregate only give you on average 25% of ad earnings. While even though I personally love Itch.io for selling games, you can only earn from donations when it comes to web games. Leaving you with the only option of hosting the games yourself, which means you are alone in driving traffic to your games. So I set out to not only design a platform that allows developers to earn from ad's (adf.ly ad's). A platform which is easy to use, quick to sign up and allows you to instantly publish your games online. A platform which is 100% mobile friendly allowing players to play your games on far more devices. Best of all, you will earn 100% from your game's players. https://play.idevgames.co.uk The play arcade is completely free and allows you to get your game online and start earning within minutes. It is the simplest and quickest way to start earning from your games with ad's. No need for API's, it's all built into the site. Also I want to make the point that I do not earn anything from the site currently, I built the platform originally for my own game's and because this was something that I wanted from a web based platform. I will also never charge for this service or forcefully take a percentage of your ad earnings in the future. The site is still being developed but is fully functional with some pretty cool features too, like: Embed your games easily on any site and still earn from every player Allow your players to give you donations through paypal Allow your players to subscribe to your patreon Turn off ad's at any time and turn them on again... Even choose the frequency your ad is displayed People can review your games Publish your games to the site instantly Keep your game private when testing The site is growing everyday and I hope you decide to take a look. Thanks, -iDev

  14. Hello Group, I'm Ramel Robinson I'm the founder of S33N INTERACTIVE. I work with game devs to host and distribute their games on the mobile platform. Our new app in beta called "S33N" Social Electronic Entertainment Network is a Twitter Client app that brings gaming to the social platform. We all know Progressive web apps or(PWA) is the new focus of mobile. There has been a shift of consumers to low-end android devices that are prepaid to avoid expensive contract phones. These devices have sacrificed storage for affordability and that presents a problem to native app game devs. The storage that is left is mostly occupied by social apps that are the reigning kings of mobile.Example: no one is going to uninstall instagram to play your new lil game when all their friends are on instagram, facebook, Twitter, etc. By operating in the cloud and browser we bring games to low end mobile devices without sacrificing storage, but proving also a ease of access rather than searching the web for games to play. Our partnership with Twitter is another aspect I would like to speak in private about with developers. You can check out more on My Website. also if you would like to try out S33N for yourself, you can access the open beta in the Google play store. link is on the website Thank you guys. Great group and I look forward to hearing from you.

  19. My first HTML5 Game, Snaked.io (So exciting! ) Every since playing the famous revolutionary agar.io game, I was inspired to create my own "io" game, so here it is! I took the classic version of Snake, and made it multiplayer Snaked.io (Server may take a while to connect, and a bit laggy due to it being free from Heroku) Basically, what I want to know is (preferably 1-10 scale): Do you like the concept? How easy was it to understand how to play? What would you add/change? Any bugs? (For now, may experience lag) What do you think of the name of the game? Anything else that comes into mind, please add! Gameplay Objective of the game is to eat the gray squares causing you to extend your length, while avoiding crashing into yourself, or others. Become the longest of them all! Controls W or ^ - Up S or v - Down A or < - Left D or > - Right Enter - Chat Hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it! SCREENSHOTS Screenshot (1) Screenshot (2)

  21. "Bushed Bricks" it's simple and fun game on JavaScript. The rules of the game are simple. You need to combine blocks of the same color. When a block reaches x4 (default by desktop), you can move it to the line similar color. You'll get game points for that. To win, you need on hold 400 steps or earn 5000 points. To controls use navigation keys (← ↑↓→) for desktop or swipe for tablet/mobile Play it here: https://shtange.github.io/bushed-bricks/ Source code: https://github.com/shtange/bushed-bricks On desktop it looks like this: On mobile devices: I'll be glad to hear your opinion about my game.
  22. Hi everyone! I'm a first time poster on this forum after having just come across it after a google search - just what I was looking for. I have a finance background but have been learning how to program (JavaScript) the past few months. I have an idea for a simple game that I really want to build. However, instead of learning Swift, I was thinking of building a native iOS app using something like PhoneGap or CoCoon. I don't even know if that's actually possible since I don't know what exactly they are but from what I've gathered, these programs will let you build a game in JavaScript and compile it into a native iOS app - which would be pretty cool! Can someone guide me to some resources on where I can get introduced to the world of making games using JavaScript for iOS (where I think the market for games really is)? Thank you - looking forward to contributing to this community!

  24. Hi guys, I've tried everything, but still cannot get my game to have states. I hate to post my whole code but I have no idea what else to do. If anyone has a bit of time, please let me know what you think. A noob in these matters, I still don't get why I have to use 'this'. Also tried to do this in different files but nothing. I just want a basic 'play' menu, the actual game, and then the 'play again'. Am I doing something wrong in the code that prevents this to have states? I also tried the game.pause = true, but as it pauses everything and buttons won't work. 'use strict'; let game = new Phaser.Game(800, 600, Phaser.CANVAS, 'showgame', { preload: preload, create: create, update: update, render: render, }); function preload () { game.scale.scaleMode = Phaser.ScaleManager.SHOW_ALL; game.scale.pageAlignHorizontally = true; game.scale.pageAlignVertically = true; game.stage.backgroundColor = '#000'; game.load.image('ground', './assets/scripts/game/images/ground.jpg'); game.load.image('star', 'assets/scripts/game/images/star.png'); game.load.image('sadmicrowave', 'assets/scripts/game/images/sadmicrowave.png'); game.load.atlasJSONHash( 'sprites', './assets/scripts/game/images/spritesheet-mini.png', './assets/scripts/game/images/spritesheet-mini.json' ); game.load.atlasJSONHash( 'enemies', './assets/scripts/game/images/students.png', './assets/scripts/game/images/students.json' ); } let sadmicrowave; let katie; let students; let tables; let cursors; let score = 0; let scoreText; let timerText; let weapon; let fireButton; let table1; let showgame = document.getElementById('showgame'); let scorediv = document.getElementById('scorediv'); let scorelabel = document.getElementById('label'); function create() { let ground = game.add.image(0, 0, 'ground'); ground.fixedToCamera = true; // Enable p2 physics game.physics.startSystem(Phaser.Physics.P2JS); game.physics.p2.setImpactEvents(true); game.physics.p2.defaultRestitution = 0.8; // Collission Groups let playerCollisionGroup = game.physics.p2.createCollisionGroup(); let studentCollisionGroup = game.physics.p2.createCollisionGroup(); let table1CollisionGroup = game.physics.p2.createCollisionGroup(); game.physics.p2.updateBoundsCollisionGroup(); let x = game.world.randomX; let y = game.world.randomY; //weapon - does not work yet weapon = game.add.weapon(30, 'sprites', 'chair.png'); weapon.bulletKillType = Phaser.Weapon.KILL_WORLD_BOUNDS; weapon.bulletSpeed = 500; weapon.fireRate = 600; // main character katie = game.add.sprite (700, 300, 'sprites','katie.png'); game.physics.p2.enable(katie); katie.body.setCircle(30); katie.body.setZeroDamping(); katie.scale.x *= -1; katie.anchor.set(0.5); katie.body.fixedRotation = true; katie.smoothed = false; katie.body.setCollisionGroup(playerCollisionGroup); katie.body.collides(studentCollisionGroup, hitStudent); katie.body.collides(table1CollisionGroup, hitTable); game.camera.follow(katie); weapon.trackSprite(katie, 0, 0, true); fireButton = this.input.keyboard.addKey(Phaser.KeyCode.SPACEBAR); let students = game.add.group(); students.enableBody = true; students.physicsBodyType = Phaser.Physics.P2JS; students.smoothed = false; for (let i = 0; i < 23; i++) { // let student = students.create(190 + 69 * i, -90, 'enemies', i); let student = students.create(x, y, 'enemies', i); student.body.setRectangle(30,30, 0, 0, 4); student.body.setZeroDamping(); student.body.fixedRotation = true; student.body.setCollisionGroup(studentCollisionGroup); student.body.collides([ studentCollisionGroup, playerCollisionGroup, table1CollisionGroup ]); } students.setAll('inputEnabled', true); students.setAll('input.useHandCursor', true); let tables = game.add.physicsGroup(); tables.enableBody = true; tables.physicsBodyType = Phaser.Physics.P2JS; tables.smoothed = false; // for (let i = 0; i < 100; i++) { let table1 = tables.create(x, y, 'sprites', 'table.png'); table1.body.setRectangle(10,10, 0, 0, 0); table1.body.setZeroDamping(); table1.body.setCollisionGroup(table1CollisionGroup); table1.body.collides([ studentCollisionGroup, playerCollisionGroup ]); } let door = game.add.sprite (20, 500, 'sprites', 'door.png'); cursors = game.input.keyboard.createCursorKeys(); scoreText = game.add.text(16, 16, 'Score: 0', { fontSize: '32px', fill: '#000' }); timerText = game.add.text(530, 16, 'Time: ', { fontSize: '32px', fill: '#000' }); game.time.events.add(Phaser.Timer.SECOND * 30, fadePicture); } function hitStudent(katie, student) { // student.health = 2; // for each {student.sprite.alpha -= 0.5}; student.sprite.alpha -= 1; score += 10; student.destroy(); } function hitTable(katie, table1) { // student.health = 2; // for each {student.sprite.alpha -= 0.5}; table1.sprite.alpha -= 0.5; } // GAME OVER function gameover () { game.destroy(); console.log('game destroyed'); } function fadePicture() { game.add.tween(katie).to( { alpha: 0 }, 2000, Phaser.Easing.Linear.None, true); game.add.tween(scoreText).to( { alpha: 0 }, 2000, Phaser.Easing.Linear.None, true); } function update() { katie.body.setZeroVelocity(); if (cursors.left.isDown) { katie.body.moveLeft(350); } else if (cursors.right.isDown) { katie.body.moveRight(350); } if (cursors.up.isDown) { katie.body.moveUp(350); } else if (cursors.down.isDown) { katie.body.moveDown(350); } if (fireButton.isDown) { weapon.fire(); } } function render() { scoreText.text = 'Score: ' + score; timerText.text = 'Time Left: ' + game.time.events.duration; if ( game.time.events.duration === 0 ) { gameover(); } }
