Atm. the BlackMoon Design team (consist of 2 full-time developers, 2 part-time developers and 2 graphic designers) made roughly 80 games.   2. Hi everyone! I'm a first time poster on this forum after having just come across it after a google search - just what I was looking for. I have a finance background but have been learning how to program (JavaScript) the past few months. I have an idea for a simple game that I really want to build. However, instead of learning Swift, I was thinking of building a native iOS app using something like PhoneGap or CoCoon. I don't even know if that's actually possible since I don't know what exactly they are but from what I've gathered, these programs will let you build a game in JavaScript and compile it into a native iOS app - which would be pretty cool! Can someone guide me to some resources on where I can get introduced to the world of making games using JavaScript for iOS (where I think the market for games really is)? Thank you - looking forward to contributing to this community!
  3. Edit by Rich (September 2016): Back in 2013 Mike created a web site (below) that allowed Phaser devs to list the games they'd made. You'll find over 400 games created with some of the earliest versions of Phaser. Lots of the links don't work any more, but some do, and it's a really interesting archive. It's not worth submitting your games to the list any longer, however I'm keeping it, and this thread, because people still post new games to this thread even today. If you do this, it's highly likely I'll see it, and add it to the Phaser web site. Please include any game(s) that you have previously developed on html5 in the email. We are also interested if you have other ideas or ready-made html5 games. The games have to be simple (no long instruction/explanation) and short (1-2mins), able to play in local multiplayer environment. We hope to build long-term working relationship with you. Important Notes: - We will own all rights to the games, code, and graphics after completion. - Coders must have rights to use any graphics, music, animations used in the games. - API will be provided. - Project time: 1-2 month ============================================================= Games Setting: - Multi-players on same device - play on multi-touch screen The game details below are only guidelines. 1. Memory Game - Random spread of color buttons with different pitch/tone - Game will choose 1 random player to start the game. - Round 1, 3 buttons will lights up randomly. Player has to tap the button in sequence. - Next random player. In a game of 5 players, each player will play once, followed by round 2 - Each turn, player home area will lights up. Home area will show personal score - Limited time for each player to complete game. 2. Color vs text - 10 sec play per player. Blitz - Player with best score win 3. Pins - 1 min game - There will be a rotating circle in the center of the screen. The circle rotation will slowly speed up. - Each player has 10 pins to finish shooting in 1 min. If player's pin hits another pin, 2nd pin dropped. - Winner = player with the most pin on the ball. - Bonus: At random interval, bonus pins will appear on screen, player can drag pin back to own home base. Player will gain extra pin. 4. Cards match - Option: All cards will open for 1 sec before start to speed up game - A deck of cards face down. - During each player's turn, their home base will lights up. - Each player to tap to open 2 cards during their turn. If match, cards removed and player scores. - E.g., Ace heart and Ace diamond is a match. Basically same card, same color to match. - Player with most points win 5. Bounce - tap to shoot ball into goal at center. Long tap for more power. - Random size/weight; bigger ball, heavier. - Most points win - 1 min game 6 tug of war - tap speed game - Each player to tap as fast as they can within their home base. - 1 min game 7. Card deck - This game will just deal cards. - This game has no rules, players will set own rules, hence no calculation of points, winner/losers. - Users to choose number of decks (1/2/ 3) ---> deal all, deal 2/3/4/5/etc number of cards. - One player will choose to be Dealer. - Dealer will tap on deal to start game. - The cards are all "tap-to-highlight". Players can tap multiple cards on their deck and tap on button to send to center. - Center stack of cards: any players can tap on any cards to highlight or circle the whole stack and with hand movement drag them to any player. - Game will continue until bank declare game ends. 8 Whiteboard - 8 bases: min 8 colors; choices of line thickness. - Multi-touch, more than 2 users to be able to draw concurrently; screen limitation.
  6. Hi guys, I've tried everything, but still cannot get my game to have states. I hate to post my whole code but I have no idea what else to do. If anyone has a bit of time, please let me know what you think. A noob in these matters, I still don't get why I have to use 'this'. Also tried to do this in different files but nothing. I just want a basic 'play' menu, the actual game, and then the 'play again'. Am I doing something wrong in the code that prevents this to have states? I also tried the game.pause = true, but as it pauses everything and buttons won't work.   11. Hi guys, Im using Buildbox and Construct 2 to build my games... i found some constraints in Builbox because it does not allow me to do certain games like puzzle ones... Construct 2 lincese is much cheaper...(i dont have to pay 99 dollars a month). So it is worth using it? Can i do eggerland mistery game using construct 2? Or do you think there is other tools available for handling more complex games (2d games - i also have unity 3d installed). What do you think about it?

    ABOUT ME : Im a javascript programmer with experience in angular and js framework, but I'm new to blender and the 3D World (1 month using blender), I love babylon it's all in javascript.

    I have been working with many 3D SDK's and platforms, but all comes to the same problem, animation issues.

    I try Blend4Web but they want $999 for the technical support and there is little info about sample code, but they have an addon that exports JSON/Bin files  and if I bake every single mesh animation it will work but I think it crashes blender after baking 10 parts of the mesh a 720 frames each.

    then I try Play-Canvas (adult content) , it has VR camera ready and you can upload FBX files, so what I use to do is to Upload an FBX files for the mesh and another FBX with mesh and animations,  I delete it all in the one with the animation  and I use the just animation combined with the FBX with no animation and it works, but the platform is that it do not  accept may polygons meshes and you have to decimate making this more difficult and time consuming but works.

    I would like to try the previous method in blender but I dont know how can I combine the FBX files with the animation exported in a separate FBX in blender, so I can repeat this process on playcanvas .

    MY METHOD SO FAR so I also I import an alembic file

     it possible to do it with an vertex animation cache , meaning with out bones like an alembic file, I import the file into blender the animation plays well but I try the animated and its no working

    I created a .babylon file and added the animation attributes, e.g.' autoAnimate ... ' see below, then I drop the file in the sandbox

I am not sure whether ALL must be considered depending on the sponsor, but it definitely makes your game look more professional Some of you may know all this already, but for GameDevs who are breaking in to the industry it could help them. Here's the general requirement for creating a professional looking HTML5 games: - Offers the player a deep in game experience and give the player a reason to return to the portal for multiple gaming sessions. - Works perfectly on Android, iOS, Windows Phone 8 and PC (if yes, name the device(s) you have tested it on). - It is optimized for phone and tablet. - Works in full screen (no URL bar visible) and automatically scales to any high/low resolutions (no black borders visible ) - Handles device rotation automatically (showing “please rotate screen” information). - Has a loading bar and optimized loading times. - Sound can be turned off/on (if there are any). - Text is separated from images (Google Web Fonts may be of help here). - Text is loaded from an external file to make localization easy.
