  2. Hello, My graphic design firm is looking to hire someone to create a small side scroller game for a corporate client of ours. We’ll provide all the artwork, but need a developer to put it together. The overall concept isn’t too wild: it’s generally going to feel and act like the first level of Super Mario Bros. We’ll provide sprite states for the characters and objects, as well as audio. The final product should be able to run in HTML, as it will live on the client’s website for a time, as well as be ported into an arcade-style standing platform for trade shows. We’re looking to start near the end of October and have a fairly long schedule; it won’t launch until the end of the year (or sooner, as I assume this will take a fraction of our total time). We need someone in the USA, though NYC or surrounding area would be ideal. If someone is interested, we'd love to speak in greater detail. We can send you links to our portfolio and work, and are happy to discuss the project in further detail. Thank you!

  5. We're looking to re-create the 3D element of this interface https://xboxdesignlab.xbox.com/en-gb/customize?productid=900WZDF9XJVG We will be building internally the 2D interface, which will allow users to change the colours of an SVG model clicking items from the right hand side list (similar to example site) We're looking to work with a developer to create the 3D model, that will work with our code to change the colour of the 3D model. We will supply the 3D model in a useful format for the website (essentially whatever is required). The 3D model will need to be interactive (exactly like the example site) Clicking the buttons on the right needs to automatically rotate the model appropriately to pre-defined position (exactly like the example site) I'm hoping that the completed code will allow us (if required) to add colours at a later stage (if required) and additional automatic rotation points. Ideally also we would be able to swap out the 3D model if required without needing to re-code the whole project. The 3D solution needs to be standalone, in that we can host it anywhere without any dependancies. Please let me know if you have any questions or are interested in this project. I really need to get an idea of costs/timescales to develop this, examples of similar work would be preferable, the example site is build using Babylon.js. Thanks Dave

  14. Code and Visual are looking for an additional HTML5 developer to work with us on a series of mini games for a project that's getting underway right now and should be wrapped up before Christmas - a perfect little addition to your holiday budget! We need someone with a proven portfolio in developing smooth and professional games that perform at 60fps on a range of devices, both mobile and desktop. Ideally you'd be using Phaser or a similar framework that enables you to have complete creative control over your development and not a template based system that will prevent you from delivering on the brief exactly as it's presented. If you've rolled your own framework which has been battle tested and proven on previous projects this would do just as well.Any additional experience building cross platform (or at least for iOS) mobile apps/games would be an advantage for additional projects but not necessarily needed for this job.The 3-4 games required would fall into the "super casual" category with very quick and simple interactivity that would probably fit within a banner ad. The job is for immediate start and you'll need to hit the ground running as we have a tight, but very doable timeline. Remote work is totally fine for this job however we do require someone based in Australia, preferably Sydney. We'll be looking for a job quote on this so please get in contact if your'e interested and we'll provide briefing material for you to review and provide a costing for. http://www.codeandvisual.com/contact
