  1. I've wanted to build an endless runner game forever now. I finally got around to making it and here it is. Its called Red Pants! Run! You're an 8-pixel red-pants-wearing-adventurer and you need to collect as many gold coins as you can without falling off the trippy ledges. Just press 'X' to jump. Avoid enemies as they will make you drop almost all your gold! You can play the game here - http://gamedolph.in/?p=292
  2. I started working on a simple game series wherein I am trying to finish every game listed in the books I've read about game dev. Currently I am working through the Invent With Python series. I am already done with 2 of the games - Matching Pairs and Sliding Puzzle, Here's the third in the series - Follow Me - a Simon Clone. All the code and art is completely open, keeping with the series' motives. Share, fork, contribute, comment!
  3. Here's the latest from Game Dolphin - Space Pixel Rambo. Its a simple mouse controlled shoot-em up. It was originally designed for mobile gameplay but I got carried away with the particle generator and hence the fps on phones (even with Cocoon) is a measly 25fps. It may just be my code and I may go back, clean it up and try again. Till then you can enjoy the desktop version, though maybe with a tad uncomfortable mouse controls. You can play the game here - http://gamedolph.in/sample-page/space-pixel-rambo-shoot-em-up/
  4. I started working on a simple game series wherein I am trying to finish every game listed in the books I've read about game dev. Currently I am working through the Invent With Python series. I am already done with 3 of the games - Matching Pairs, Sliding Puzzle, and Follow Me - Simon Clone. Now presenting the fourth in the series - Snake. As before, it is completely open (source+art) and both can be found at the relevant links on the page. Fork, comment, contribute!
  5. Here's the second in series of simple games with completely open source and art assets. Check it out here - http://gamedolph.in/sample-page/sliding-puzzle/.
  6. Announcing the release of the latest from my backyard hack/pawn shop - Do leave a comment if you have suggestions and tips. Criticism is welcome too, of course.
