  2. Hello everyone... I am looking to find some paid work to help continue my current development and do more of the things that I enjoy, such as spriting and developing games. Lately, I lean towards working on platformers or top-down works over isometric and prefer character sprites over tiles and backgrounds, though I am capable of creating all of these elements. I am capable of creating a true variety of styles, most of the samples I will share here with you are varying in style, I do not currently have a clean portfolio website as I am having troubles with my finances right now and my living situation, so I have my website offline and will share an Imgur album with some samples. Here are some animated samples: https://imgur.com/a/BwZS3 Here is a static mockup for a Metroid inspired project (an old friend's project): https://imgur.com/WFd7FLu Here is a sample of recreating placeholder art for a potential client: https://imgur.com/wlDJ8NG Here is a personal ARPG project sprite mockup set: https://imgur.com/UodDP5L A random sprite preview: https://imgur.com/t01Sbie I will most certainly work towards having a more presentable portfolio website as soon as I can, but for now, these should help show what I am capable of and the quality of my works. There are many other samples but these should do, if you require more, let me know. EDIT: You can reach me by replying here or sending me an email at patriick@linuxmail 'dot' org Kind Regards, Patrick.

  5. Hi all, I'm pretty new to game development, but am eager to get started. I'm looking for an artist that could be a partner/collaborator whom I could bust out a few simple, but high quality games with (probably in HTML5, and maybe publishing on mobile platforms?); and, if we work well together, possibly form a more long-term working relationship. The idea wouldn't necessarily be to create the next million-dollar mobile game (although I'm definitely not opposed to that) but more to build up our portfolio, credibility and experience. Because of that, the partner I'm looking for probably wouldn't be a "professional ", but would probably be in a situation similar to my own. If this sounds like something that you'd be interested in, please PM me! Thanks, Chad

  7. HEY YOU! My name is PixelDwarf and I aspire of becoming a game developer who makes fun and enjoyable games for people to play. I need your help with things though. I am incredibly bad at Pixel Art and only use program art most of the time when I made some other games. That is where I need your help. I need your help in making this cool and short RPG I'm working on. In the game you basically get to choose between 3 different classes. The game is not meant to be taken seriously because i'm going to add some nonsense into like for instance, There is a random drop for a fedora that you get where you hold shift and click and the fedora makes big breasted women come out that do a bit of damage but die in one hit and when they disappear it says "Friend-Zone" in text. I just wanted to make this game as a fun little project that I though would be cool. I'm looking for at least a decent pixel artist that can make some things such as houses, trees, pathways, etc. When I am done with it (Summer is what I'm aiming for) I'll put it up for sale for a dollar and we can split profits we make from it. If this goes successful I hope sometime in the future we can make another game together because well, like I said, It was a success. I hope we can at least get most of it done and if we get bored of the project we can move on to something we can agree on making. TL;DR - I need a Pixel Artist because I suck. - Making an RPG and need some RPG Pixel Art Made. - Need a Fedora. - Aiming to put out in the summer. Contact Info: [email protected]
