  1. Hello Community i make this post to talk about Gamedistribution and warning all developers about this site. take care when you start making money with them because they pay the first times and then just evade the payments even when im uploading 4 new games every month. I contact them but they just say we will pay you but never pay. I upload more than 50 games From 2017 to today and they pay me until MAY 2018. If you have similar issues please comment this post so we can help developers to dont give our hard work to this guys. Cheers
  2. Hi everyone, Famobi has been around for more than two years already, but somehow we haven’t actively taken part in this wonderful forum during this period. Many of you know us already and have published their wonderful games in our network. So first of all we want to say THANK YOU! Thank you for the fantastic games you create, thanks for making the HTML5 games industry the next big thing and thanks for just being really great people. After all you and your games are our daily business. And we have lots of fun with them. But even more important, our clients love them. We have spread your games to many portals, companies and brands and gave them the attention they deserve. Since your games have been the foundation of our company and its ongoing success, it’s only fair that we share with you our current state and upcoming projects. Of course we continue and steadily improve our daily work as a distributor of your games. We place them on all the biggest and most known portals around the globe. And new portals, big and small, are registering for an account at Famobi every day. Another focus right now is Facebook Instant Games. Shortly we will begin placing games in the Facebook messenger. So if you have amazing high score games with a quick and easy gameplay, let us know anytime. One can never have enough of those And in general, please continue to send us your games. There are no restrictions to genre or age. However we have a few requirements based on the needs of our clients and partners, that have proven to be crucial for maximum success. The games must be: Full responsive. Games must work in portrait and landscape mode. Without text. No texts means anyone will understand your game regardless of language. Small. Preferrably the file size should not exceed 3 MB. Smooth performance. Even on lower-end devices. We test our games from iPhone 4S and Samsung Galaxy S4 mini upwards. These are a few examples of games that fulfill these requirements and that we really love: Solitaire Classic Street Race Fury 4 in a Row Classic Bottle Flip Challenge Mandala Coloring Book Backgammon Classic Kids Color Book 2 But before our post reaches the dimensions of a novel, let’s come to an end for now. For all those who didn’t know or contact us yet, you can reach us anytime under these addresses: Game submission: Please use our submit form right here: https://famobi.com/#contact General questions: [email protected] Purchase of games: [email protected] Thanks so much and let’s continue to shape the industry! Cheers from the whole team!

  4. I remember reading something in the FGL help articles ( on licenses and the like) and remember reading something about sponsors not wanting games that have been released to the public (this was in the Flash Games Era by the way). Now if I release an HTML game as a Beta for testing will sponsors still want to license the game (e.g. by buying a primary/exclusive license)?
  5. Hello everyone, I am the creator of Game.tk , traducted 10 days ago from the popular french version http://jeu.cc, that made me enough $ to live for the 2 last years. I am currently looking for the best HTML5 game devs, marketers, managers, traductors, etc. I am looking for partnerships, giving a % of the company, revenue share etc. Here is what will need to be done: -Publish more HTML5 great games -Find better ways to monetize the site, if you have ideas, please contact me -Expand the website in other languages, the system is already done, it just need traductions (french is done on: http://jeu.cc) If you think you can bring something great and/or help monetize the project, please contact me.
  6. Hi guys! Just a quick question. Say I want to provide my game to PC as well in executable form (.exe), like using NodeWebkit. Now I want to sell it digitally through the internet. Do you have any recommendation on where I should do that other than Steam/gog.com? To make it clear, my problem is I want to sell it directly from my website, but implementing credit card payment system stuff is quite a trouble, and PayPal is just limiting the users (let me know if I'm wrong and this is okay, if you're experienced with this). I hope there's any other solution. If you have any other technique to do this, please let me know! thanks!

  9. Ready my thoughts on how to make money from the rising market of HTML5 games on our blog InsideHTML5Games.com: http://www.insidehtml5games.com/html5-games/blog/how-developerts-can-make-up-to-30000-usd-from-html5-games/
  10. Hello! I am a new member of this forum, so I hope that my post will be welcomed here! I am not entirely sure it should be posted here but couldn't figure out a better place. Please advise if you have an idea. I would like to present you a brand new tool we launched for the gaming industry: AdoptMyGame (http://www.adoptmygame.com)! This innovative website allows developers, for free now, to quickly advertise their games to a large number of publishing partners (you can see on the bottom of the website which publishers already gave us a special support, but please note that we are in contact with many more). Games and gamers are everywhere around the world, that's why the objective of this B2B tool is to help developers from every continent to unleash their games' full potential. We want you to show your titles to many people in the industry (publishers, investors, consultants etc,) and stop missing great distribution opportunities. Publisher have very precise filtering options, so if you have a game which is relevant for their needs, they will see it very quickly and be able to contact you in one click. After that is done, AdoptMyGame is not getting involved in your business. We just help you to be found and contacted. If you have one or several games, for any device, and at any stage of development (from Design concept to even already distributed on some regions/platforms), it can be very beneficial for you to quickly register and fill your profile and add those games. That will be great for us to have more games at the start, and that will be even better for you, as your game will be more visible to publishing partners! Because in the next weeks more and more other games will appear. When you add a game, it will not be visible to anyone else than you, until the moment we approve it. We will check the projects regularly and if we see that everything is looking properly, then we will make them visible to all. As I mentioned earlier, it's for now completely free to use. It will later costs, probably with a per-game-visible-for-a-certain-time rate basis. Let me know if you have any comment or question. I am really looking forward to counting your games in very soon
  11. Dear forum members, some of you already know Famobi and know what we’re doing, but nevertheless it would be impolite to not introduce ourselves properly We’ve been participating in this forum for a while now and first of all we would love to take the opportunity to tell you, that it’s a pleasure to be among so many awesome people able and willing to push our industry further and further. It’s a lot of fun to see how HTML5 games have improved in quality over a rather short period of time. So, what do we do? Basically, Famobi is an HTML5 games affiliate service. We aggregate the best HTML5 games from developers and offer them to publishers worldwide. Developers and publishers both can earn lifetime revenue with Famobi through ads and in-game purchases. Furthermore, Famobi's aim is to connect companies worldwide that haven't got in touch with HTML5 games yet, independently from the sector or size. If needed, we even build complete whitelabel portals for publishers. We only started in November 2014 (of course with a team of very experienced casual- and online games industry professionals). In these few months we already managed to generate a monthly reach of over 30 million gameplays and more than 7 million unique users (February 2015, Source: Google Analytics). Our catalogue of free HTML5 games has grown to over 100 games as of now and is steadily increasing. As it is very important for us to have a well-balanced portfolio, we don’t focus on a specific genre but rather look for games that fit our catalogue well. At the moment we are in need of action, sports, casino and classic games. We also experience that our players like to play HTML5 versions of "trend games" that are popular in the app stores (Flappy Bird hype, for example). Just as a general guideline, quality is most important for us. That means high-quality graphics, a fun game play and sufficient game depth. The games should run smoothly cross-platform on PCs and mobile devices. For localization we prefer all text in sprite fonts. That’s the short version, since we didn’t want to write a whole novel here We’re happy to answer your questions if you want to know more about us. We’re looking forward to a great 2015 and hope that together we all can shape the HTML5 games industry in a good way. All the best, the Famobi team
  12. Hi game developers, We're a game publisher and we've got a special offer for match 3 games that can run on Facebook, iOS and Android: 30,000 free game installs on Facebook and 10,000 on mobile. To apply you should have a Match 3 game which is already live or can be launched on either Facebook, iOS or Android. By Match 3 here we mean any game with tile-matching, cluster-breaking, trace-a-line, or bubble-shooting mechanics where you have to align a certain number of the same pieces in a row/cluster/or else. Your game must be free-to play with in-app purchases (or at least, you should be ready to implement one). Send your game for review via this registration form: http://special-offer.renatus.com/
  13. I am a games publisher mainly for Facebook games, as that is where our current network is, obvious any game that does well for us on Facebook is worth putting on the ios and android too. Do you have any games that are either already on Facebook or that can be re skinned or just bought outright,or do you have any games that could be ported to Facebook. maybe you started to make a game and never finished it, or maybe you have a game on facebook with no users and have come to a dead end. I am looking for games i can add to my network but the games must have in apps(in game purchases) within Facebook and be entered into my template that i use for Facebook( can use your current template if good enough),the template consists of the header and footer and leader boards etc, all aspects to make the game social and to work within the Facebook platform. There would still be some work to do to get your games up to a Facebook standard in terms of pop ups like level completed, send a life, get a bonus etc, unless you have already done this on Facebook, and in this case this would be great as you will know the Facebook API. I am interested to hear from anyone with any ideas that you have, and whatever stage your games or game is at, if you have a game on Facebook already then this will be even better and take less time We have just started using unity developers and html 5 developers, and we are always looking for games we can easily add to our network that are fun to play and have a good meaning too the game so users are more tempted to spend and reengage. Let me know how we could collaborate together, or if you have a great game that you think i could be interested in. I am very interested in candy crush, bubble games, angry birds, farm grid games, solitaire, casino, slots, running games, driving games etc etc Just let me know how we could work together, or if you have a game/code that i could be interested in. Thanks Speak soon hopefully

  16. So, I was doing a bit of readup on making money on html5, and it seems that currently, selling licenses to your html5 games is your best bet at the moment. *nudges True Valhalla* To this end, I then began to wonder what kind of games publishers are looking for, in terms of mechanics, aesthetics, dynamics, themes, etc... as I haven't a clue. : D Also, will all controls have to be touch? Still trying to get used to non-keyboard controls. : /
