  1. Hello all, My name is Alexander and I am a professional HTML5 game developer from St Petersburg.I'd like to present you my new HTML5 game HyperDiver: It is a dungeon crawler game in a minesweeper style with role-playing elements (collect loot and upgrades system) in a space setting. The game is also available on Google Play, in popular Russian social network and on some online games portals. The game was developed with Phaser framework. Server side was implemented as REST API with PHP+MySQL: leaderboards, ratings, registration, authorization There are lots of game-design ideas still not implemented because of the lack of resources. And I learned a lot while working on this project. I've improved my skills as a game-designer and as a programmer also. There were lots of difficulties in the working process and the current minimalistic and simple version means that more than 50% of the implemented features were removed at all. I'm novice in a game marketing and I don't exactly know how to promote my game so I don't monetize it now. If you are publisher and you think that this game has future, I will be glad if you help me to publish and promote it together as partners. I can modify the game in accordance with your request: add more features or implement any possible API. Making a game even so simple like mine is a great journey and I wish everybody to have this kind of experience! Good luck to all! Regards, Alexander

  5. [WIP] Jewel Matching Game

First post looking for feedback. Matching game that I'm working on, at this point I'm on the fence for how much more effort I want to put into it. I think it could be cool, but after enough time passes it's easy to have doubts. On the technical side there is no game engine library being used, and it doesn't use canvas. Which is an odd choice but the project really started out as a proof of concept of some stuff I wanted to try. Play Link: Code: Development Blog Post: It's not geared towards mobile yet. In theory it should work fine, but at the moment it's not optimized for the larger board states. Also it won't work in Edge or IE at all, too much reliance on css clip-path at the moment. Anyways let me know what you think, and thanks for playing!
  6. Math Pixel Puzzle

Math pixel puzzle is a very unusual game. The rules are very simple. You will see an image with pixels of various colors. After three seconds, the pixels fly apart in 3D space. Your task is to rotate the space so that the image appears as originally. In the upper left corner you will find a hint - a small picture. You’ll need to collect an image so that it becomes exactly the same as the one in the hint. If it gets upside down or inclined – let’s look for more options to solve this puzzle. The difficulty of the levels increases at every level. In this game, we collected figures from 0 to 9 and pictures of geometric shapes: circle, square, triangle, parallelogram, cube and star. Do not spend too much time as it is limited. The faster you solve the puzzle, the more points you will get. All feedback is welcome. Will try to be more diligent on posting new games in the future Note to GameMaker: Studio users: These where all made on GameMaker: Studio 1.4.1763. I keep using this version because the newer versions all seem to introduce more problems than solutions. And there is also the iOS 10.3 issue that wasn't fixable on later versions either. Do you guys recommend a newer version? How about GameMaker: Studio 2? How is the HTML5 on that? Is it really worth it? I appreciate your help.

  18. [Android] Panelore

Hi! After a few months of off and on work I just released Panelore on the Google Play Store. Panelore is heavily based on NES classic Panel De Pon (aka. Puzzle League or Tetris Attack). For those unfamiliar with the original, Panelore is a match-3 style game. Blocks can be moved horizontally only on a free basis (not one swap per match). New blocks continously appear from the bottom at a constantly increasing speed, and if any block reaches the top it's game over. It's a highscore chaser sort of deal You can find the game here: The game is build on Lucky Kat's HTML5 framework 'Bento' and then wrapped in Cordova with some added plugins. It's open source, but not particularly aimed for usage beyond the studio at the moment. I used it primarly because I worked for Lucky Kat for a bit (I'm doing a gap-year/pre-career break sort of thing at the moment ) and got used to it. Still, it's a neat little HTML5 framework suited for both Mobile and Web development. I hope you guys will give it a try and I'm happy to answer any questions!

  21. Hello! I have been making this small puzzle prototype-game on my free time. It is called Numeropeli online. (Numeropeli means numbergame in Finnish.) I'm pretty sure there are real name for this type of game, (like chess, GO, backgammon) but i haven't found the one using google, so that's why the name of the game is kinda dumb. It is using node.js on backend, and it's using to connect to the server. It currently supports playing against random people, invite/host -game and playing against AI. I have been having fun playing with friends, it is kinda addicting too. The idea is, that players play in turns. The first player chooses the tile where the game begins. At each round, the players has to choose a tile from the line that the opponent has chosen. When you select a tile on your turn, the opponent must choose the next tile from the same column where the last picked tile were. The player with the most points wins. The next version contains: UX and UI updates, maybe whole rework (It feels bit wrong still) bug fixes (I'm pretty sure there are still bugs :D) Sounds (maybe) Stats system (wins, losses, avg, best points, game history, etc.) Leave button for games, if you dont want to play. Support for 5x5 tile games. Translations for other languages. Maybe make this an Windows Phone/Android application I would like to know what you guys think about it, are there some bad things, what should i change in the web design? Can you see any bugs? It looks like this on mobile Try it!
