  1. Hello all, Last december I released my first IF game, called Beached! (part 1). It did well on the IF forums and received a lot of feedback. Beached! is the first in a series of games and it was a tryout to see if I could actually program an IF game from scratch. Since my native language is Dutch and my English is not sufficient enough to write a proper IF game for all to enjoy, I need help! Beached! (part 2) is in development. The scenario has been written but I need someone to check the story line for grammar and spelling errors and turn it into proper spoken language. Even though it's IF, the amount of text is not overwhelming and anyone is welcome to help me on this. I'm not looking for a co-writer, but sharing new ideas on the scenario or puzzles is always appreciated. If you're interested, play beached! (part 1) as a reference to the amount of text and the grammar problems. Please help make Beached! (Part 2) a full-grown game! Regards, Ewald Screenshot Beached! (Part 1)...
  2. Hi there! My name is Ewald Bal. I'm the CSO at BrightSight-People, an indie software company from The Netherlands. I've always loved text adventures or Interactive Fiction nowadays. And I am proud to bring you a brand-new and totally free game called “Beached!” An oldschool text adventure with modern-day touches. In Beached! you play a stranded, cocky castaway roaming a deserted island in the Caribbean Sea. Help this poor guy survive the island, using nothing but it’s natural resources, which is easier said than done, of course. Beached! Is a small game, as it is the first in a series to come. Survival is your main goal in this first part, escaping the island will happen in later episodes. I hope you’ll enjoy Beached! For its atmosphere and crazy sense of humor if you force the protagonist into wacky situations. Play Beached! at: https://beached.000webhostapp.com/ It’s a totally free game with NO advertisements. Please, mail feedback if you enjoyed the game (or not...) and suggest a good name for our hero, to be used in upcoming episodes. Greetz, Ewald Bal mail: info@brightsight-people.com

Created my first app/game! There's a demo version, and a paid full version. The only difference is in one you can save and in the other you cant (as it's a demo...) - The demo is a try-before you buy sort of thing. The game is a text adventure, though trying to bring something fresh to the genre. It's heavily inspired by Minecraft, the game is an openworld sandbox. It's coded in HTML/Javascript though i used webview for the android game. If you go to play/download the game - PLEASE read the commands first otherwise you will probably be confused as to how to play. I will be giving the game updates and bug fixes weekly/every two weeks. I'm also working on a PC port of the game using JavaFX. Demo version - Click here!. Paid/Full version - Click here!. Attached some images of the game below.
