For those interested, I found a discussion about adding typescript support to Netbeans. Been watching it for a while, but stuff added to it recently.

https://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?format=multiple&id=233197

I have been using Palantar eclispe plug-in, and sort of satisfied, except that it relies on node.js.  They talk about using a Java based grammar tool called ANTLER.  Not relying on a tool external to the VM like node.js could make keystroke level parsing very responsive.

Also saw in the thread

Google has announced at ngEurope that Angular 2 is developped using AtScript, a superset of TypeScript.

Anyone heard of AtScript?
