german umlaute will not get displayed correctly

Recommended Posts

ME seems to output german umlaute wrong.

I can correct the text manually within the mt.data.js. So it's okay. Just to let you know.

Oh, I just recongnized, this only seems to be the case, when I use the "export data.js only".

When exporting the whole project as a zip umlaute get shown right.

Cheers,

Henryk

I'll add charset header: as described here: http://www.w3.org/International/O-HTTP-charset

in the meanwhile - as those single files mt.data.js(on) don't have any encoding set - browser uses default one.
You can change default encoding by going to: chrome://settings/fonts and find parameter encoding - change it to unicode (utf-8)
