Hi everyone,

 

I'm Alvin, the new member of the Photon Storm team.

 

The moment you have been waiting for is coming, today we have finished adding the JSDocs blocks to every file, so the full API documentation will be released along with the 1.0.7 update this week.

 

We are also really pleased to see your enthusiasm in building games with Phaser.

 

There are also a lot of new examples coming, just hang on a bit more :)

Hi,

1.0.7 and the Docs will be released as soon as they are ready, and they come with several changes, so stay tuned :)

 

Alvin (or Rich, or anyone else involved...), could you tell us what, if any, will be the planned changes/updates to the content of the current 1.0.7dev branch on GitHub?

I managed to get pretty far by setting up a server, dumping the unzipped phaser download in there, and visiting /examples. The examples work well with the Tiled Map Editor on www.mapeditor.org exported JSON. The JSON references file names of the sprite sheets, but you can ignore this as the the Phaser tileset loader takes the URL of the sprite sheet as a parameter. The mario example is a real winner!

 

This has kept me going without documentation. So far ran into 0 problems.

So today is the day you have all been waiting for, we are really happy to announce that after a lot of JSDoc work, the official Phaser documentation is now ready and available online at this URL :

http://gametest.mobi/phaser/docs/

 

There might be some mistakes, obviously, but I think this plus the 150+ examples should really help you get started in an easier way.
