Hi

I am using Phaser for *serious games.

Here is one that teaches about accelerated movement. It is part of our new digital educational content for primary schools.

check it out here:

What do you think?

*serious games

Serious games are simulations of real-world events or processes designed for the purpose of solving a problem. Although serious games can be entertaining, their main purpose is to train or educate users, though it may have other purposes, such as marketing or advertisement.

@WombatTurkey Tnx.

First version had all GUI in Phaser but dropdowns with phaser are not so good and are hard to manage. So i went css route instead and i haven't look back. I think css is great for GUI elements since elements can adapt to different screens with no problem via media queries.

Could you make i.e. text file with english captions?

Game is or will be localized with i18n.js

Atm we are working on Slovenian version first and later if our sales team is successfully we will add translations. For me it means only to add json files with texts and that's it. It is translation ready.

Than when linking game (it loads via iframe) we just supply?lan=en at the end of link to load game and that's it.

But I do not have English texts jet. You must understand this is only version small part of huge electronic text book that we are making. It is a whole electronic text book with interactive games and animations to add value. I used phaser for a whole lot of such examples like: buoyancy, reference frame, potential and kinetics energy, gears and rotating objects...

@Egor Tnx

Well this example shows what velocity car can achieve with different accelerations. User picks starting acceleration strength and duration and observe what is final (terminal hehe) velocity. Length of the path is not important for this specific example.
