JeanC Posted May 30, 2016 Share Posted May 30, 2016 If you already bought a MacBook 12" go ahead and use it for HTML 5 game dev. It should work just fine in the learning phase. In the long run you will probably want to attach a larger screen to your MacBook. If you still pondering if you should buy a MacBook personally I would go with a MacBook Air 13" + 8GB RAM. Ideally I would buy a MacBook Pro 15" or an iMac 27" maximized, but I need to keep my expenses in check. A MacBook Air 13" is a good compromise quality/price.
