It's been really challenging building this game from the ground up, all the more as it was our first time being on our own. The game was built with Phaser 2.4.6, and exported to the mobile platform with Cordova. I'd also like to use this post to thank all the loyal members of the forum who have greatly helped us over the last past months! You guys make this place rock!

If you have any questions, whether it's about the gameplay or the code, don't hesitate! I'd be glad to answer them!

Have a nice day guys, and have fun coding the awesome with Phaser!

Hey Skeptron,

I tried out the game. The graphics look nice and the performance is also good. In general it is a solid game! I only noticed a few things that could be improved but are not related to the game itself. First of all, when I try to find the game in the play store, it is almost impossible to find it in the large amount of games that have 'robo' in the name :) . Next to that, I found the permissions when installing the game kind of strange. Why would you need my microphone for example? I guess this might prevent people from installing it.

@bdekk thanks for the nice comments!

Yeah, ROBO sounded very simple and straightforward, which was a solid advantage, but obviously it's not the best name ever for a good index in the stores. Solid point.

And for the permissions you're 100% right, this kind of details are completely not in our favour. To be honest I'm not an expert with smartphone support (it's the first time ever I do a game for this platform), and I tried to remove this kind of thing but couldn't. Some things went well, some other were very unintuitive and sometimes I would have to even give up. :(

Another stupid example, in the App Store the game has to be rated 17+ just because there are FB and Twitter links in the game, which sounds completely absurd to me... And again, not in our favour.

But thanks a lot for the feedback man, really appreciated!

Cordova creates an Android manifest file and uses this to generate the APK. You can alter the permissions in this manifest file :)
