When Canvas better WebGL

On some Android devices canvas renderer works better and stable than Web GL

Some games may crash in Web GL mode when in canvas mode all games stable.

I want to ask is there any way how can we detect it ?

Maybe some benchmarks exist ?

I'm interested in this too but I haven't found any resources for this or tried to do it yet either. I'll update if I do anytime soon.

OTOH the games that are stable in both modes for these devices sound inspiring, I wonder if they detect or use benchmarks or just pure canvas 2D or ? Agar and Slither are the only one's that I've actually looked at the source for and both seem to use canvas 2d like the CanvasRenderer, even when WebGL is available and working well...
