TrackBall confusion

Hey All,

I've been working on a trackball example, but i'm seeing some wacky behavior. I've created a drag plan that sits on top of the sphere which i use to grab my deltas values on mouse move.

Initially, the movement of the sphere follows the mouse as it should, but eventually the mouse direction switches the rotation of the sphere in the opposite direction??? I know it must be a quaternion issue, but i'm  not experience enough to figure it out.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Tobi.

Thanks, my pleasure.  Please mark this thread as solved.  Thx.

Some people are able to add a red "solved" tag onto the front of the thread title.  I haven't learned how to do that, yet.

See that red 'solved' tag on the front of Arte's thread title?  Perhaps you or @Arte will teach me how to do that.  :)

Done!

There's a plus sign to the right of the tag(s) you can click on and it will display the tag(s) associated with the thread.

Select the tag from the Tag list and drop down the item prefix box and select the tag you want to highlight and display in front of the thread title.

Thanks again!
