Basic collisions p2 physics engine

Greetings,

I want to call a function if two objects touch each other. I've spent time googling around and it's not quite sinking in 

I get how you'll call game.physics.arcade.collide, but p2 doesn't have a method like that it seems. Just wondering if anyone knows best practice for this.
