New HTML5 game asks "Remember the Match Game TV Show?"

I am founder of Kindred Games and am proud to announce the availability of WordClues, our first game release!  Word Clues is an iOS game, coded entirely with web technologies (HTML/JS/CSS) and deployed within a native Obj-C shell that we custom built.

Here is a little background on the game: as a kid growing up in the 70's, I always enjoyed the show Match Game, with Gene Rayburn, Richard Dawson, and Charles Nelson Reilly, just to name a few.  In the final round, the contestant would be presented with a phrase of the form "_____ row" and be asked to complete the phrase (so, in this example, they might have guessed, "skid").  The audience had always been presented with the same phrase before the game and asked to give the word they think would best complete the phrase.  The contestant would then guess the blank word they feel would be the most popular answer from the audience.

Fast forward 40 years, and Word Clues takes this concept and expands upon it.  Players are asked to guess a word that best completes a fill-in-the-blank phrase.  To help them out, they are presented with five such phrases, each of which has the same missing word.  Guess the correct word, and earn points.  If you need even more help, players can reveal the first letter or a vowel.  For those feeling confident, they can choose to double their points!

Word Clues is a fun, educational word game with thousands of questions that will keep you challenged for dozens of hours.  Players can choose to play online or offline, so it's great for passing the time in an airport or while waiting for your child to finish hockey practice. :-)

Word Clues also has full support for Game Center, so those who choose to log in to Game Center can see how their stats stack up against other players.

We hope you enjoy our little word game.  We had fun making it!
