Calling all Construct game developers, we’ve got some exciting news for you! We’ve teamed up with Scirra to bring you a fantastic competition.

If you’ve not come across GAMEE before, we’ve set up a fantastic new platform that allows you to play great little games using their own social app (available on both iOS and Android) or directly in messaging apps Telegram and Kik. And we’ve just finished developing a pair of plugins that will allow you to deploy your Construct creations onto their platform!

Which brings us back to the competition - develop a game using Construct 2 or Construct 3 that runs on the GAMEE platform and you could win some great prizes!

So what about some rules, it wouldn’t be a contest without rules right?

First of all, your game must be made in Construct (2 or 3), implement the GAMEE framework and work in the GAMEE JS emulator. Your game must also be PEGI 3, so that’s no sex, blood, violence, gambling and so on. (You can check PEGI ratings here.) You’ll also need to make sure your game is done with a portrait layout as landscape is not yet supported in GAMEE.

You’ve got almost a month from today to design, build, test and submit your game - submissions can be done here. Your creations will then be judged, and the winners announced later.

First place will net you an Xbox One, a year’s subscription to Construct 3 and a full month’s worth of promotion for your game on GAMEE! There will also be prizes available for 2nd place through 6th place including a Nintendo Switch, C3 subscriptions and more, so there’s plenty of reasons to get involved!

If you’d like to take part, head over to GAMEE’s site to find out more. The complete set of rules and available prizes can be also found in this sticky forum post and you can use the thread to ask GAMEE any questions about their platform! We hope you’ll join in this contest and we can’t wait to see what you come up with! Winners will be announced on March 11th.

Good Luck!
