Ovelay filter with WebGL?

Recommended Posts

Ho @enpu

I've had a look at the Pixi plugin docs and can't find an 'overlay' filter.

Just wondering whether there is another filter there that does a similar thing?

If not, any possibility of adding 'overlay', as it's really useful to create textured effects etc.

Thank you in advance :)

Perhaps you could share a more visual example of the effect you're going for? Does it have to be WebGL/Pixi?

I'm not sure that familiar with the different web technologies (WebGL, vs standard canvas drawing). But if you're just wanting to draw a texture to a square/polygon, then you might not need the PixiJs plugin, etc. Just something like in this post could do the trick.

I believe the question was to know if we could change the blending mode, from alpha blending, additive, etc.... and actually I would like to know also if we could draw sprites in additive mode for example, is that possible ?
