The gravity in babylon101 10th

Recommended Posts

Hi everybody.

While I learn babylon101 10th course, there is a question:

course link: https://doc.babylonjs.com/babylon101/cameras,_mesh_collisions_and_gravity

code link: https://www.babylonjs-playground.com/#U8MEB0

The course says "your camera is going to fall on the y-axis until it collides with the ground".

Then I changed the code in the line 9th.

from: var camera = new BABYLON.FreeCamera("FreeCamera", new BABYLON.Vector3(0, -8, -20), scene);

to : var camera = new BABYLON.FreeCamera("FreeCamera", new BABYLON.Vector3(0, -5, -20), scene);

Now the camera does not "fall on the y-axis", it stay in the "air".

Why? There is different with expectation. How understand the "gravity"? Or it is a bug?

Thank you for your help.
