spelagon Posted March 20, 2014 Share Posted March 20, 2014 Hi all,Couldn't find this project mentioned anywhere on these forums so posting it as news Shumway is an HTML5 technology experiment that explores building a faithful and efficient renderer for the SWF file format without native code assistance. http://mozilla.github.io/shumway/ I tried the Canabalt demo using Desktop Chrome and it was a bit slow but working.Also tried it on my iPad Mini - run smoother but no sound (and no keyboard means I couldn't really play). HTML5 games is mostly for smart phones and tablets. Not sure if those devices can deliver the processing required by Shumway.. What do you think?
