Audio on iOS?

I have mixed results with audio on Safari/iOS. Not sure how to make it work consistently. Are you using m4a? Because ogg is not supported. Do you have spaces in the audio file names? I noticed that audio files with spaces in the name do not play, but when I remove the spaces some files work and other's don't. Since I use audio from different sources, I believe compression settings must have something to do with it. Perhaps I should do an experiment and load a sample of audio files from different sources, make a list of the ones that work, and figure out what they have in common. I believe there has to be a solution to get consistent audio on Safari/iOS.
