  1. Its definitely possible. I'm working on a framework for applications like this at the moment. What i have so far (only BabylonJs related things): - support for multiple views - custom camera control for better multiple view and orthographic camera support - move and rotate operations which work in all views (2D, 3D, orthographic, perspective ...) - everything works on desktop and mobile/touch devices In my case i don't need to sync 2D and 3D because everything is done in 3D anyway. attached a screenshot of my debug application (everything still in very early stage, thats why the

  5. I believe you need to use moda.sprite.destroy(); That should get rid of both the sprite and it's P2 body. Otherwise, if you want to reuse the sprite later by reviving it, you could also wrap the code in an if(moda.sprite.alive) check.

  7. What's calling addBarrier? EDIT: My guess is that the thing that is calling addBarrier is losing its context, so the value of "this" isn't what you think it is. I bet it's the window. The window doesn't have a game, so neither does your sprite.

Hi, this could be useful to you: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/14614252/how-to-fit-camera-to-object Also, I don't know which type of camera you're using, but there's a zoomOn function and a zoomOnFactor parameter for the ArcRotateCamera. I think it is related to the distance from camera to the object and not to the canvas size, but you may want to take a look at it anyway.

    One of the best browser games I've played this year, this is insanely fun. I love moving towards the right and spamming the jump key while the epic chorus is playing in the background, I feel like such a bad ass haha (the music you chose fits the game perfectly) Are we supposed to beable to jump over the cones? Edit: just got a score of 32k (not sure if this good haha)

  14. This is only going to get more and more confusing. Pretty sure I've read somewhere that JS is currently the worlds most compiled-to language, presumably this is to get stuff running in a browser. Browser games might be more appropriate for apps that run in browsers, which would then negate the discussion over how they were created. HTML5 covers the technology, and can be stuffed into any device/application capable of understanding it, stuff like node-webkit and Electron are not browsers, they just share tech with browsers, so calling apps Browser games instead of HTML5 games is still misl

  15. "true html5 game" means it runs on every browser on every architecture, desktop or mobile, without the help of any proprietary plugin. but this is just my opinion, man.

Highly subjective of course, but in my opinion a "true HTML5 game" (or "browser game" as I prefer) should primarily: Create fun interplays across the web. i.e. it is not a technology or tooling question, but a user experience question. So YES, GameMaker, Unity and friends can make a true HTML5 game, but that's not to say they always do.
