  1. RT @AVnodeNET: The Open Call for the first edition of @splicefestival now open! https://t.co/bElLOofcxY https://t.co/4sZRgzAAgz

  2. I shared the project if you want to have a look: https://github.com/brucelane/TableauxDeBord
  3. it's a Win 8.1 universal app, but I chose the C# language instead of JS
  4. good for the best of both worlds, I started a C# universal app, then I added the babylonjs files in the shared project, then the webView control with this url: navigateur.Source = new Uri("ms-appx-web:///default.html"); When I run the app, I get the progress animation with 5 dots, but it stays there forever. Is there something I'm missing?
  5. hi, I'm evaluating bjs for entreprise apps. Can I use bjs side to side with winjs apps in universal apps? I like the universal app template provided in the tools folder. Is it easy to use data from SQL server, Active Directory, Sharepoint? thank you Bruce
  6. yes I came across http://www.dotnetcurry.com/ they have good articles on REST, SignalR. thank you for the links, much appreciated!
  7. yes I started diving into the code! I need to add some uniforms like iGlobaltime for animation, support multiple textures... About renaming the uniforms, it can be difficult as there are lots of people using the current names?
  8. hi, I'm interested too, especially the "bidirectional socket server" I might use for other devices like leapmotion and communication of the browser...
  9. hi, I'm a VJ, I spent the last 2 years in the Cinder C++ framework for creative coding, building my pixel shader app, which uses Spout for texture sharing between apps. I got a fantastic idea to make an extension to it: Adapt CYOS to be a live coding environment for the visuals! It involves several tweaks: as the audience of VJ shows are expecting a fullscreen render of the output, I need to find a way to send the current edited pixel shader to my C++ app (via node.js I guess)each character typed in the editor should trigger a compilation of the shader, without having to press the "Compile" (play) button, then if it compiles without errors, sending the pixel shader to the C++ apprename the uniform variables to have the same names as shadertoy (uniform sampler2D textureSampler becomes uniform sampler2D iChannel0 for instance)It means it could run on any recent device in a supported browser to control a VJ show locally on remotely. Let me know what you think and if you want to get involved. Bruce
  10. hi, is it possible to have a fragment shader instead of a skybox for the background? thank you
  11. yes, I think of mixing languages(if needed) and creating an universal app. REST calls seem the way to query the lists. thank you David
  12. hey, I just found this: http://channel9.msdn.com/coding4fun/blog/BabylonJS--WebGL--Bing--Maps--3D--BabylonBing that looks fantastic!
  13. Hi, I have a new project coming about dashboards, I'm evaluating the pros and cons of using BJS instead of C# for a Windows Phone app. The difficult task is to access Sharepoint 2013 lists on such a device. Shall I use C# with a Visual Studio Sharepoint project template for WP8 or BJS with JSON REST calls to Sharepoint? Then I will have to add charts, Chart3D looks like a good starting point. Thank you
  14. thank you, I had a look at Dotvision, I'm impressed by the result, but it seems a bit huge for my case, I will contact them. There is actually https://github.com/minorua/Qgis2threejs which does the trick for three.js. But I would prefer to use BJS, which successfully displays in my Windows Phone 8 app in a phone:browser component and also supports the Oculus Rift in the desktop browser. I only have one week to put it all together, so I'm going to code something to meet my needs. I guess I won't have time to create this plugin as I'm already in the process of learning BJS. May be a heightmap will do the trick...
