  4. Hello everyone! Just a quick question for you all. Sprites in my game are moving flawlessly when the game is played inside a browser window. However, once I switch to mobile webview, all the movements / animations become choppy. I have already set the following inside my game: game.forceSingleUpdate = true but nothing has changed. Is there any way I an optimize my game, or add something to make make my sprite move without lags? Thank you in advance!
  5. Not sure this is going to help. Correct me if I am wrong, crosswalk is used to turn web apps into native applications, so that they could be uploaded to Play Store / App Store. In my case, we already have an app, within which we are planning to launch our game.
  6. Hello everybody! I hope you are having a fantastic day! Our team wants to start making simple HTML5 games for our Android / IOS apps. Games are supposed to be ran inside the WebView. We are looking for a very lightweight engine, because there is already ads placed at the bottom of the screen in our apps. Our first attempt was Phaser.js, but the performance wasn't the greatest inside the WebView. Choppy sprite movements, common fps drops and so on. If you guys know an engine that could help us achieve the goal, please let me know! Thank you in advance!
  7. Hello everybody! I hope you are having a great day! I have recently build a prototype for my new phaser.js game. It's a simple runner where the player has to avoid obstacles. I have tested it in multiple environments, including mobile browsers and webviews. The game refuses to run smoothly like I want it to. I have experienced lags, loosing frame rate and total unresponsiveness. So here I am, begging for your help and advice, what am I doing wrong? How can I make my game run smoothly?   8. @thanhtungtnt did you run "npm install" ? 1. First of all, you have to have node.js installed. I used the modern ES6 syntax and webpack to compile it to ES5. 2. Then, run "npm install" to install all of the game's dependencies, including the phaser.js itself. 3. Finally, run "npm run dev". This will bundle all the code and launch the server with live update.
  9. @thanhtungtnt That's weird. vendor.bundle.js includes minified version of phaser.js library. Maybe the browser didn't fetch that file in time. What browser / device are you using? Try reloading the page or incognito mode.

  15. Hello boys and girls! Is it possible to access local files, images in particular, upload them, and use in the game as a sprite? For example, player clicks a button, opens up a file dialog, chooses an images and uploads it. Later that image is going to used a background or something like that.

  17. Hello people! I ran into when issue when I was developing my new game. It is a game where arrows show up on the screen and you have to swipe in the direction that the top arrow is pointing to. You have to swipe when the arrow is within a certain area on the screen (check the screenshot), represented by a faded arrow in the circle. That arrow in the circle rotates to the direction that the closes moving arrow is pointing to. I use tween for the rotation animation. Here is the problem.   18. Hi everyone! I am currently working on a game where a player has to avoid walls that spawn on the top of the screen. I have a sprite that is a three-line road. Player can step on only one line at a time. I want the background sprite (the road) to auto scroll from top to bottom. At the same time I want it to spread across the entire screen width. To I basically want a single sprite to have the width of the screen and tile vertically. Is it possible to achieve such a thing in Phaser?

Recently I have tried to use tween animation and found an annoying glitch: my sprite moves up and down for a few seconds and then the animation slows down for a random number of seconds. it is not so smooth anymore, which bothers me a lot.
