  1. Hyperactive Soccer 2 A fast-paced single player five-a-side retro soccer game. Whats new: Updated graphics, music and refined gameplay: Dribbling, more "responsive" to passes. A number of game parameter changes (e.g. playfield size, goal size, ball interception). This is fast. To help adjust, you can select from different speeds. Note the teams (nations) have different strengths. So you can adjust difficulty level by who you pick. In "quick" game mode you select brain and speed levels directly which apply to both teams, meaning, they always have the same strength.     Mini Switcher

    This is nice. Just wanted to give it a short try, next found I had played through. Reminds me somehow of pixel dash and vvvvvv. To care more about the blob(?), you could make it a sheep which is guided back to its herd.
  3. New version 0.20. Added a new level "NO. 1" and lob should be better controllable now. See the fixes/changes end of gamepage. If you experience any regressions in gameplay please notify. For me gameplay is finished now. Hint: If you have not used the lob until now, for "NO. 1" you need it.

Will give notice here when significant improvement. 0.10: Initial version. 0.11: Now correct ball over net height calculation in cpu evaluating shot opportunities (misplaced sign in equations). Effect: cpu hits net less often. 0.12: Fixed point counting when missing service (reproduce in old version: service, throw ball, at highest point hit, miss, wrong score). 0.13: Detect cpu service out (code was there but was not enabled. Since most of cpu services are in this was not obvious). After enabling fixed point counting when cpu service out.
  5. Thanks for your suggestions. Just to note: New version 0.11. Found a sign misplaced in equations. Effect is now CPU calculates height of ball above net correctly in judging shot possibilities which causes it to make net hits less often.
  6. Hyperactive Tennis You play tennis in single player mode for one set with tie break. There are four difficulty levels: ROOKIE for training, PRO, "NO. 1" and LEGEND for the real challenge. Game is keyboard only: Return: Menu select/Next screen Arrow keys: Menu navigation, running around B: Back to title screen "C": Hit ball X: Lob The levels ROOKIE, PRO, "NO. 1" and LEGEND are selected with left/right arrow keys. The key "C" hits the ball. The game automatically selects service, normal stroke, volley and smash. The key "X" plays a lob. Have fun. Requires some practice though. Made with emscripten.   7. Could you be a bit more specific ? Trying to estimate the difficulty level: Do you know the puzzle Vexed and its level packs ? Lets use that scale for reference. Sandcastles: First 14 "Childrens". Last 16 evenly mix of "Classic" and "Twister". Peace Conference: Approx. 6 "Twister". Rest mix of "Childrens" and "Classic". Even though rules description is not short this is a friendly puzzle. Note: Please read the game rules. Because there is no interactive tutorial hand-holding I tagged it non-casual. Would not attempt to reverse engineer them just from playing.
  8. Beppigames Puzzles Two non-casual puzzles I made some years ago, both original concepts. Made all puzzles first on board/paper, no generators involved. Mandatory to read the games rules, in game or on games homepage (game rules link). 1. Sandcastles Direct Link Game Rules A 30 level sliding tile game at the beach. You slide around "digging tiles": Where these cover sand diggings take place. Where your channels tap water they are flooded. Two objectives: 1. Every sandcastle in a level needs to be on its own island. 2. All seastars in a level need to be put into water. Created with plain Javascript and Pixi. 2. Peace Conference Direct Link Game Rules A 47 level logic puzzle based on the Four Color Theorem. You host an intergalactic Peace Conference. Its attended by psychotic politicians of four alien species of the Mars Attacks sort. Not unlike in a nursery your job is to assign every participant a place in the conference room and securing he does not freak out. Two types of rules must be fulfilled by your seating order: A chair rule states a pair of species which cannot be placed on neighboring chairs without raising hell. A table rule states species which must be placed on each table to achieve a pacifying effect in the room. In later levels you are assisted by staff of expertly skilled therapists (in martial arts ?) which can keep aliens in check even when chair rules are violated. Initial game was Android and a Java/C++ mix. Replaced the Java part with C++ and SDL and created the HTML5 version utilizing emscripten. You can mute the music in game options ("Silence").   9. Yes, monochrome colors would have added to the atmosphere. I actually thought about a monochrome setting as in knight lore. Decided against (church windows etc). But at least the screen is monochrome green when the time is frozen by a spell. True, the levels share the same color scheme. Uh, oh, ctrl + w ? Dangerous. Fatal. Disastrous 🙂
  10. A 6 level exploring and broom riding jump and run. Your 50 cats were snatched by magicians. Free them. You play as the young energetic cat caring witch, commonly known by her nickname "Curse Of Zipfelmuetz". Happy exploration ! Controls: Keyboard only. Move and Menu Navigation: Arrow keys or WASD. Jump or any other action: X or M. You will have to find out by yourself what other actions are possible. Proceed in menus: Space or Return. Admit defeat in a level: P. To return to title menu, press P again. MUST READ THIS: 1. The "Trespassers Guide" (second option in title menu) contains hints. 2. Left/right keys at first option in title menu sets the start level. This allows for practicing every level. Practice broom riding in level 6 or 3. 3. You can admit defeat in a level by pressing key P. You return to the title menu by pressing key P again.   11. Yep, I agree. A first level where you just drop cargo straight down would have been better. I should have made the first levels all kind of training ground with inbuilt tutorial. Regarding cargo issue: Agreed, the fact that no further cargo is dispensed until the old one was consumed (by truck loading or hitting other object) is puzzling. Its intentional as there are levels where your misses will have an effect this way. Also note there are levels where dispensers will emit only one cargo and then vanish. This game does things a player might not expect and which may be considered escapism. Not related to your comments, just as an addition: Exploring the game is strongly advised. If you want to practice flying you could also try level 30 (there you have to pickup cargo at the end of first lap). Why not literally kick some alien tourists in level 26 first ?
  12. Schubi Action and skill game in spirit of Thrust and Space Taxi. May take 30 seconds to 10 minutes to pickup and develop necessary skills. Difficulty level is nasty but easier than in the aforementioned classics. To solve all levels probably takes a week. If you happen to solve level 28, notify (the only level I failed at). MISSION Pilot your little yellow ship and load all trucks with cargo at a construction site (level) within the shift duration of 180 seconds. Cargo is picked up by flying over a dispenser (the circular object). This hooks cargo to the ship and a truck is loaded by ejecting the hooked cargo and hitting the truck with it. - 30 largely varying levels, playable in any order. - game within game principle, e.g. level 30 is a racing game. You may find some references to e.g. Asteroids, Thrust, Space Taxi and Cut The Rope in other levels. ON THE IMPLEMENTATION Wrote this as my first game in 2012. This html5 version is a mixture of transpiled javascript (emscripten) and normal javascript. No engines were used, everything was written from scratch (physics, collision detection,...). CONTROLS Keyboard only: A - turn ship left S - turn ship right K - thrust L - eject hooked cargo (keys above can be redefined in KEYS submenu) Quit a level / back in menu: B, Backspace or ESC Menu navigation and selection: Arrow keys and Return WHAT TO DO IN LEVEL 1 AND HOW TO DEVELOP THE NECESSARY BASIC SKILLS Your ship cannot cross the red white striped barrier, only cargo can. First fly around using keys A,S,K. If you got that fly over the dispenser (the green circular object). Now that the cargo is hooked to the ship fly some circles, halfcircles and watch the cargo gyrating around the ship. If you got that eject the cargo with L. Study its flying path. Pick up more cargo and practice throwing (hurling) the cargo so it reaches the trucks beyond the barrier. If you loaded all trucks, congratulations, you developed necessary skills for this game. One further useful skill to be developed is rotating the cargo to the ships nose (and keeping it there by maneuvering) so you can push it. Described in the game but overlooked: The yellow black striped areas are explosive ones. Do not touch them, neither with the ship nor drop cargo there. BROWSER REQUIREMENTS WebGL capable browser, may not work with MS Edge. There is no loading bar for the initial preloading of music. Be patient. There is also an Android version available from in a free to play bundle (see for links).

Some hints how to tweak the games difficulty level ========================================= First of all, in the long term keyboard is the best control option but gamepad allows to pick up the game more quickly. There are two AI attributes: Quickness of decisions and running/shot speed. These depend on the nation. The best teams are Brazil, Germany and Spain. Find out about the other teams strengths in friendly matches. If game too difficult: - in "Tournament" choose a slower speed and choose a good team as yours. - in "Singleplayer" choose low levels for brain (brain icon) and speed (running mouse icon). Note that these attributes are shared by both teams. - in "Friendly Match" choose slower speed level. Choose a good team and play against a weaker opponent. If game too easy: - in "Friendly Match" choose highest speed level and play as a weaker team against one of the best teams. - In "Singleplayer" choose highest levels for brain (brain icon) and speed (running mouse icon). - in "Tournament" choose highest speed level and play as a weaker team. If you want slow motion gameplay: - in "Friendly Match" choose slowest speed setting and play as e.g. Austria against Hungary. - pick the Android version (free to play bundle on, see for all links) which has two additional slow speed levels (because of touch). Connect keyboard or gamepad via USB to GO and play at "Incredibly Slow" speed level.
  14. Fast 5-a-side soccer game with 1 and 2 player modes. The game was influenced by International Soccer (C64) and RealSports Soccer (VCS 2600). Made with emscripten. Requires WebGL capable browser. Supported controls are keyboard (recommended) or gamepad. For two player mode use two gamepads (both playing at same keyboard is possible but cramped).
