  1. Hi @Wingnut, I am fine and thank you for the quick reply. Use of layer worked well for me. Regards Rajkumar
  2. Hi All, I would like to have a gradient background in my application. For example: https://github.com/mattdesl/gl-vignette-background What is the best way to achieve this in babylon js? Regards Rajkumar
  3. Hi, thank you for pointing me to some help on this. I am using an ArcRotateCamera in orthographic mode. I tried out an implementation http://www.babylonjs-playground.com/#RXUCB#22 However, if my cube is tilted in an angle, the real bounding box is not considered. What do I need to modify so that the view specific bounding box is considered ? Regards Rajkumar
  4. Thank you very much, The suggestions were very helpful.
  5. Hi, I would like to setup so that light falls on the mesh, even when mesh is rotated. http://www.babylonjs-playground.com/#1HCFXA#0 Currently, if I rotate the mesh and look at the bottom surface, it is rendered as black, which means there is no light that hits this surface. I think this means light moves along with the camera. is this correct? However, when scene is rotated and a different surface is placed on top, I see a shine. Why is this ? I think I am missing something very basic here. All I want is use a single source of light and illuminate the mesh, no matter how it is rotated. Is this possible ? Regards Rajkumar
  6. Hi, I am trying to implement a feature where in, the meshes need to be fit to say 80% of the canvas size. Created a playground in order to try this, when I double click, I try to zoom all. http://www.babylonjs-playground.com/#RXUCB#0 I require help in finding a relation between bounding info of mesh, with the width and height of canvas so that 1. the mesh should be centered in the canvas 2. the mesh should fit 80% area of the canvas. I am not sure if this was asked in older posts, please help. Regards Rajkumar
  7. Hi All, I would like to use babylonjs from a touch device. Zoom in and zoom out by means of pinch works in a touch device (mobile/ tablet) http://www.babylonjs-playground.com/#AMEB6#0 Panning works on pc by holding CTRL+Drag. What is the best way to implement panning on a touch device ? one touch drag would rotate the scene. Will it be possible if I want to use 2 touches and drag to pan ? Regards Rajkumar
  8. Hi, I would like to modify few attributes of a line rendered using LinesMesh such as 1. line thickness 2. Line Start type / End type to display an arrow. Looks like this is not directly possible. Should I render these as cylinders (for thick line) and cone (say for start type arrow). ? The thing is if we try to zoom in these will get bigger and bigger. Is there a way to maintain the same thickness irrespective of the zoom level. Regards Rajkumar
  9. @Nockawa Thank you very much for solving this.
  10. @Nockawa , thank you for your quick support. I would like to pick the lines mesh even though mouse is not very precisely over the mesh. looks like intersectionThreshold should take care of this, however I think I am missing something. please refer http://www.babylonjs-playground.com/#1I4F1D#6 What should be done to pick with some tolerance ?
  11. @Deltakosh Looks like this is addressed now. Thank you, picking on Lines works now ! http://www.babylonjs-playground.com/#1I4F1D#2
  12. Can you please help to add support for this in babylon.js ?
  13. oh ! We are planning to develop a component where in user should be able select edges for welding operation. I was thinking that all edges would be rendered as line and then ask the user to pick whatever is needed. If lines are not pickable, what is the alternative for my case ? Should I create small planes instead of lines ? Wont this have performance issues ? Kindly suggest a way to achieve this effect.
  14. Hi, I drew a line and then tried to pick the same. This however does not work as expected. Please find below, link for the trial. http://www.babylonjs-playground.com/#1I4F1D#1 Kindly let me know where I am going wrong. Regards Rajkumar
