  1. Hello everybody, I'm busy making HTML5 ports of some of my old games using libgdx... So let me present to you : 10 Bullets. You can play the game here : 10 Bullets You only got 10 bullets to destroy tons of ships Wish you fun ! Michel
  2. It was fun and controls felt very reactive. Also relaxing to play :)
  3. I found it difficult to "understand" the world (why am I stucked in here??), to differenciate between foreground and background. Also despite 60 fps, it felt a bit laggy, would have liked a bit more reactiveness from the controls. With everything going faster, game can be great ;)
  4. Oh and for those coming from Flash, the leaderboard implementation is based on/inspired by the good old mochimedia leaderboard
  5. Tks for those new feedbacks, i'm happy you liked the game ! @Kaffesumpen, after quick check, it is apparently related to the play of sounds (without user permission...). Need to investigate on that one ! Also I find playing sounds a bit problematic in HTML5 (especially on mobile devices ) ... @onlycape, now you need the top 10 of the month (tip : today is the day) @b10b, yes, not everthing is taught in the tuto. Self learning brings also its own rewarding moments. Yes, I like the flexibility of having a custom leaderboard. Music is not my best skill, I always wonder if I should ask real musicians or buy some, but at the end, I almost always do it myself. No there is no progression, I actually made Boomerang Chang 2 (in Flash and on mobiles), with upgrades and progression, but I think I overthought it and had problems with balancing the game. Maybe something in between, like Boomerang Chang 1.5, with some simple upgrades/progression would be best
  6. Hey thanks ! And libgdx still rocks
  7. Hello Guys, Just wanted to show you my first HTML5 game : Boomerang Chang (http://www.crazygames.com/game/boomerang-chang). There was already a Flash, an Android and an IOS version. But HTML5 is just fresh ! I also wrote an article about the process building the game with libgdx : https://www.crazygames.com/blog/2018/03/07/A-libgdx-journey-with-HTML5/ Cheers ! Michel
  8. Hello Guys, I wrote an article about my experience building the HTML5 version of my game Boomerang Chang with libgdx : https://www.crazygames.com/blog/2018/03/07/A-libgdx-journey-with-HTML5/ The article summarizes all the steps I went through to make the HTML5 version from an existing Java code base (Android/IOS), from compiling with GWT to publishing on a web portal. It was my first attempt on making an HTML5 game (you can try it here : http://www.crazygames.com/game/boomerang-chang). Hopefully it can help some of you if you want to give libgdx a try Cheers, Michel
