    Like @end3r we (the Defold Foundation) were also awarded a grant from Grant for the Web to explore the use of Web Monetization in games. The Defold Foundation will use the grant to integrate, promote and support the use of Web Monetization in web games created using Defold. The Defold Foundation will integrate Web Monetization through its plugin system, promote it through examples and tutorials and host a game jam focused on Web Monetization.
    We have a first version the engine and editor integration ready for testing (more info). Next up is to create the sample game and start planning for the game jam.

    Ok, after many messages, many inconveniences and so on, Gogy asked me for an invoice for $ 200 and sent me $ 130, I don't want to fight anymore, this payment is for 6 months of income in 2 very popular games of mine.

    Until now It was nearly impossible to get classic rewarded ads (from legit ad network) into web based games, especially for PC. Finally rewarded ads from google became true also on the PC web.

    Noel reacted to tidoust in WebGPU, will it replace WebGL?
    This will depend on advancement on the technical specifications and on their adoption by brower vendors and device manufacturers, but that is indeed the goal. WebGL is derived from OpenGL and is thus restricted to features that OpenGL supports. WebGPU builds on newer GPU system APIs and is also designed to be agnostic of the underlying platform technology (meaning it can be directly implemented on top of platforms such as Microsoft's Direct3D 12, Apple's Metal, and Khronos's Vulkan).
    Standardization-wise, the WebGPU API and WebGPU Shading Language specifications are actively being developed in the GPU for the Web Community Group. The documents should soon enter the usual web standardization process in a GPU for the Web Working Group, whose creation is currently under review within W3C.

    @MassimoFellucci Do you have the same issue? Are you using the latest version of Phaser and the Instant Games plugin?

    Also, you might want to ask your question on this group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/instantgamedevelopers/
    The community is quite responsive.

    Noel got a reaction from Superatons in test
    You should probably put one of your bundles in production (that's the version that will be surfaced when accessing your game). Otherwise, your game is not accessible.
    You could also set it as "Stage for testing". Please read this part of the documentation: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/games/instant-games/test-publish-share#testing
    More general request: don't post in another language than English, and give a better title than "test". Something like "How to have testers on my instant game?".

    Thank you for your response. I actually posted a similar post on Instant Game Developer Community and they said,  In order to show Ads, my game have to reach a threshold in DAU. I hope this answer helps others.

    Noel got a reaction from Superatons in Facebook instant games - create a multi-player game
    @Bonomi
    Got it. Have you read the documentation? https://developers.facebook.com/docs/games/instant-games/guides/play-friends
    1- But then, how do we handle the accept request on player B (slave) flow?
    Once player B enters that context (see the documentation I shared above) it means the challenge is accepted, it is that simple. Then you can handle it on your server side.
    When player B has played his turn, you could send a custom update: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/games/instant-games/guides/game-update
    2- How is player A notified that his friend accepted the challenge and is ready to play?
    See answer 1.
    3- Same questions about when one player is waiting for his opponent to play, I believe I need to use "switchAsync" function but am a bit blurry here as well.
    Not sure what you mean, but I feel my answer to 1 answers this as well.

    Hi @Reborned,
    It looks like the issue might be related to the suspicion that someone tried to hack your account.
    Could you get in touch with the team that asked you to change your password and let them know that it impacted your business with Instant Games?
    Hopefully they will be able to unlock the situation.

    @DaSe I don't know how you extracted that from the original message, but OK.
    You need a verified business on Facebook in order to get your games approved on the platform. That said, many indie developers created a business and are now releasing games.
    As for the ripoff games and other integrity issues, they are getting solved (slowly, but it is happening).

    Noel reacted to abdel in Help me understand FBInstant.player.getDataAsync()
    Hy and thank you I solved the issue with .bind();
    I saw it from http://www.html5gamedevs.com/topic/38042-leaderboard-no-open/?tab=comments#comment-217099
    And so for my case there is the code:
    FBInstant.player .getDataAsync(['coins']) .then(this.setPlayerData.bind(this)); and within my class:
    setPlayerData(data){ this.coinsVal.setText(data.coins.toString()); } and all works with magic.
    I posted it for anyone encounter the same problem.

    Thank You very much
