  1. Bookmarked! I really want to make an isometric tower defense someday. If I may, the next tutorial should be about mouse interaction (How can you know on which tile the cursor is). I'm sure the calcul is very simple something like x: floor(mouseX/tileSize)-1, y: floor(mouseY/tileSize)-1 ? Many thanks.
  2. Wow, they're catching the changes that we're doing in the dev-tool in the challenges. Impressive.
  3. That HTML5 Rocks article is really good. In a game I made 6 months ago, I started with an Object Pool for the bullets but removed it because I was not seeing any performance improvement. I think I did it poorly and forgot to remove the reference to the object or something. I'll give it another go on later games.
  4. Looks like it's done : good job!
  5. Thanks for telling me. I think it's because my sounds are .ogg and I did not make a .mp3 copy. (I was in a hurry) Anyway the game require arrow keys so there is no mobile/tablet support. I have no mobile of any kind yet so I don't know how to make it work. Cheers.
  6. Hey guys, didn't have time to make a proper game this month so I subscribed to the Ludum Dare #26 "Minimalism". The first thing I thought when I read the theme was a frogger. Don't know why but it stuck. Then my friend told me about the minimalism art movement and I adapted the game to the theme. I think it fit the theme. It's about a frog that is trapped inside a Mondrian's painting. The goal is to jump as far as possible. Play it here: Hope you like it! Cheers.
  7. Thanks for your reply, Ivan. I'm planning to improve it maybe next month, I'll take your feedback into consideration as I agree to all of them Cheers!
  8. Hey, I just uploaded my latest game. It's a tower defense where you have to build a maze in order to survive. 6 different creeps, 5 different upgradeable towers, 2 maps, 2 difficulty modes. It's a OneGameAMonth entry so it's pretty basic, but I'm happy about it. What do you think? Play it here: Cheers!
  9. Awesome! Performances should be better than displaying an image right?

    Pixi.js has landed

At first I saw "run pixi run" and was indecisive. But today I saw the bunny demo and I really am impressed. I'm really looking forward to dig into pixi.js next month!
  13. I stumbled upon Aseprite and love it. It's a pixel art animated tiles editor.
