  1. Hi, I am a freelance concept artist/ illustrator, who is currently available for work again! I specialize in character and creature design for fantasy and horror games. feel free to contact me at : [email protected] here is some of my work:
  2. For years I imagined making a completely FMV interactive story/puzzle game (think Myst but made entirely with videos). Last year I finally got around to figuring out how to make the game mechanics work, and little by little put together Yeli Orog. The game was made with HTML5, CSS, and Javascript, and packaged with Electron. The game takes place in Asturias, Spain and was filmed in various locations there. If you are a fan of Myst-like games, interactive stories with puzzle elements, and FMV games, I think you will appreciate Yeli Orog. If you have any questions about the game let me know. Here is the steam page, the game will be released on July 13th: https://store.steampowered.com/app/886270/Yeli_Orog/ Here is the trailer: Some in-game screenshots:
  3. Hey guys! My name is Jesse, an indie dev from Finland. I've developed and self-published two commercial games on Steam; Silence of the Sleep and DISTRAINT: Deluxe Edition. Long story short, DISTRAINT is doing pretty well. I'll share some statistics here in case some HTML5 publishers are seeing this: 2865 reviews on Steam and 94% of them are positive Over 1,3 million downloads on Google Play (Free to play with ads and IAP to remove the ads) Over 63,000 ratings on Google Play and rating 4.9 / 5.0 Editor's Choice on Google Play DISTRAINT is doing great, and I recently started porting to HTML5. I've very little experience from HTML5 gaming, so I'm here to ask for your advice. Any idea where to go next? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Jesse
  4. Hi! I gathered a small team to participate in this summer's Ludum Dare. We managed to build a functional game with Phaser so here's the link: Oppressiv Light Pitch: You're a robot lost in an abandoned spaceship, most of the lights have faded out and there's an alien that lurks in the dark. You can frighten him with your embedded lamp, but beware to not run out of power! (you can charge your lamp by reaching the lit areas) Find the switch that will get the lights back in the whole level and proceed to the next . If you want to give us a feedback about the game, the best place would be on its Ludum Dare's submission page (but you need an account to do so), or just write here or on the itch.io page, I'll read it anyway. You can also view the source code on it's GitHub repository, but it's pretty messy...
  5. Hello! My name is Mika Pilke and I've been a hobbyist musician and music writer for about 20 years. For now I haven't been too active looking for projects that need sounds or music, but I'd like to change that. I've also been active gamer for 25 years, and it has been sort of a dream of creating them too. And since I like creating different atmospheres, it would seem quite logical move to offer my skills for someone who is developing them. Though of course I'm willing to do music for a lot more than for games only, if needed. I do have to mention that I'm not a rock-hard pro, but I am very serious with my stuff. Two years ago there was one project for what I did 30 songs/ambiences, but game never actually was finished. Does not really matter though, since it was a fun journey and did give some important experience nevertheless. I'm not sure of the total amount of songs I've done, but it is far over 100. As an artist I am quite versatile. I do have tendencies of creating a bit darker atmospheres, but really, feel free to ask anything or offer any kinds of projects! I might have something up in my sleeve. For now I have been mixing and mastering my work alone, but for commercial projects I do have some contacts I can use to master and enhance my creations to top quality (two ambient songs listed below are mastered way too quiet, since I lacked good tools for mastering back then). Right now I do have full time job, so if you need 20 song in two weeks, I probably won't be able to help you. But if you give me a month or (rather) few months, it definitely shouldn't be a problem. Anyway, here's some of my recent work. Everything you hear or see is my work (photos, 3D-modeling, animation, shooting, music, mixing, singing, editing ect.). Everything except artwork in the video of the song Hellbreaker in which Jaime Jasso has been creator of all the visual art. Dreamland Synthesis - Awaiting This song was made to serve as menu music or such (horror). https://youtu.be/nyjdHfudUJA Dreamland Synthesis - In Peace With this one, my goal was to do a song that would fit to a RPG or JRPG. Village music? https://youtu.be/maZT13jDRWk Dreamland Synthesis - Morbid Tomorrow Darkish ambient. https://youtu.be/YK4un5O016Y Dreamland Synthesis - Nebula Core This one would maybe be suitable for some dark scifi-styled horror game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Qu4uB3HtiI Dreamland Synthesis - Hellbreaker I think when I did this song I was imagining some sort of moment being chased. https://youtu.be/w8QIfSVZ0io Dead Cold Ground - Towards Eternity This was my project at the beginning of this year. I kind of got out of the hand, and took almost a month to finish. Working alone takes it's toll. https://youtu.be/hI7JVdlW_34 And here's some of my newer creations also: https://logamp.com/MikaPilke/music Please, feel free to contact me if there's any questions or other things on your mind. pilkemika_gmail.com

You could have zombies, or something else entirely in the game as well as manipulated difficulty. Early Concept of the story picker. Languages: HTML, CSS, Javascript, Possibly CoffeeScript Engine: Pixi.JS, Phaser.IO, Phaser Isometric Plugin. WebGL/CANVAS Start Date: December, 20th, 2014 The Team We are a small group of people who are working on a similar project. I am the main lead for the project as the idea is mainly mine but everyone even others not working on the project are welcomed to suggest ideas. I wont go into detail about the other members as they can talk about themselves once on the team but I can say that they are early in their stages of their area while I am more of a senior. I am of the 90/10 philosophy where as you take all of the ideas and put them down and then scrap about 90% of them to work on 10% that actually makes sense and will allow for a finished product. After you wrap that up then you can go back and add parts of the stuff left out. This allows to be able to actually finish a project faster and actually get it done. I am also a professional front end web developer by trade which is why I tend to make things for the web. Team Members Joel D. Programmer, Artist(I suck at), Sound FX(I suck at) Austin P. Sound Engineer Steven W. Programmer NEEDED 2d/3d Artist Screens Please excuse the the rather crummy graphics atm. I am by no means a graphics artist. Also note that there are more screens in the below comments Inventory screen with bag inventory and a battery stack The inventory screen now can open up inner inventories and now has stacking.

Currently we need a few roles filled as leads but what we currently need is some content. It can be done in the way of 3d or drawn. but as long as it in the end is isometric, and fits the artistic style. Shadows are not that important as I am looking into a way for lighting possibly, but can be added later for details. Also need things like the parts of characters to be broken down into joins for Atlas/Spine usage if possible. More over before we worry about characters we need tiles, objects, and items done. With the items and objects need a decent render of them as the characters plan on being ~w64x~h128 which we are basing everything off of that rate. So tiles need to be about 64x32 and also have vertical depth of something like 16-32. Items and Objects need to be relative to the character size which I know we do not have a full character yet but if someone wants to do that then that would be amazing. This is contribution base so we are willing to take what ever someone asks. Also color is not important. If you can make it grayscale unless it has need for accents that would be awesome. Below is the list of things we will need. once again I am a 90/10 fan so not all of this will go in. Mainly just the stuff people provide. Various Building Materials: WoodMetalBrickStoneClothTarpsVinyl SidingGreen house WindowsTiles: With your normal 9 base for everything but water WaterIce: Thick, ThinDirt: Brown, SnowSandGrass: Dead, SnowClay: Gray, Orange, BrownGravelRoad: Asphalt, Concrete. 8. So this is my newest game called Nightcast. The player assumes the role of a traveler that walks (for some reason) alone in a dark forest and is being (naturally) attacked by spirits/ghosts/ or whatever. The goal here is for the player to defeat all those monsters (that only reside in his mind) before fear runs him over (pun intended). I hope you enjoy it! Play Linky: http://netgfx.com/trunk/games/nightcast/ I forgot to mention that the player can only see wherever his flashlight is showing... (but lightning is a great ally) Note: I know the game is not optimized for mobiles but I'm working on it. Right now its is best played via mouse, because the actual finger is blocking the view.
  9. In a previous post I asked for game hosting but I have successfully uploaded this game to a number of sites. You can play the game live on Kongregate here Clementine Scroller game Just an update on a previous post but needed a new thread
