Gio 53 Report post Posted December 12, 2014 Care to eleaborate? There are plenty of facebook games that went viral, and whether they are made with HTML5 or not makes no difference in that respect - actually, being more portable may actually help. Funkyy 43 Report post Posted December 12, 2014 HTML5 games by itself dont spread that good. But if you put on Google Play, Itunes or Facebook then the same rules applies as to native rules about spreading. 1 AVENGER NO WAR reacted to this

Mrst2L 2 Report post Posted January 1, 2015 Html5 games don't spread like flash games because not all game portals support html5.
plicatibu 52 Report post Posted January 10, 2015 Because portal owners just get code to embed HTML5 games instead of the full game files so they can host them in their servers they refute HTML games.I understand their wish to host all files from games.Imagine you don't host the HTML5 games. You just embed them in your arcade. If game owner shows inappropriate content / ads you (the arcade owner) may loose users, get banned from Google and have your reputation destroyed. The same way arcade owners don't trust game developers to just embed their games, developers don't trust arcade owners because the risk of have their work stollen / ads removed. In a perfect world no one would have to worry about cheaters... but we're not in a perfect world. Stealing html5 game is no problem at all, even if it is hosted on another's website
Martin99 3 Report post Posted July 23, 2020 Hello guys. We released our first game in html5 after 5 months work and submitted the game in wanted5games and gamepix. Is it enough to distribute the game in all web? What are other ways to distribute html5 games more? Thank you.
