Searching Enging just for Rendering

Hello Folks,

 

i'm searching an engine which is just for rendering with no collision detection or other things.

 

We make a game for a lecture of our university and the logical part have to be implemented by us self.

We're new to Javascript-Game-Development and need a little advise which lib is good for displaying some graphical stuff.

 

Our game will be a little map where characters can battle each other. It will be in 2D so we search some easy lib.

A character for example a mage can fire some fireballs, archer shot arrows and warrior strike with his sword.

 

Do you know some libary we can use for our project?
