Poor performance and common lags on mobile browsers

Hello everybody! I hope you are having a great day!

I have recently build a prototype for my new phaser.js game. It's a simple runner where the player has to avoid obstacles.

I have tested it in multiple environments, including mobile browsers and webviews. The game refuses to run smoothly like I want it to.

I have experienced lags, loosing frame rate and total unresponsiveness. 

So here I am, begging for your help and advice, what am I doing wrong? How can I make my game run smoothly? Is my update loop simple enough?
