gonzos 6 Report post Posted October 19, 2017 I'm wondering is Pixi Game Engine or Framework? I'm asking this because Companies in their job ads always refer Pixi as a GameEngine. My opinion is: it's framework and I always have problems with interview trying to convince other side: "come on guys, It's not Game Engine it's framework :-)" Thanks
end3r 197 Report post Posted October 19, 2017 Well, it's a renderer... ;] The authors themselves call it "The HTML5 Creation Engine", but then there's also "Create beautiful digital content with the fastest, most flexible 2D WebGL renderer". I wouldn't worry that much on the terminology though.

Maybe it's reason why I got a lot of -REJECTED- emails ;-).
end3r 197 Report post Posted October 19, 2017 Call it a "tool" and just focus on discussing the detailed requirements of the job
