Setting world bounds

I find it really hard to translate the phaser docs to usable code. I'd really like to know how to run a function when any objects within a group go out of world bounds. Reading through that doc or the code that points to does not tell me. Can anyone give pointers as to how to read that doc and the code it points to so as to extract usable code?
