Looking for an artist to help!

I've recently made a team of 4 people including me.

I'm a game developer, We have a writer and a music composer.

 

We lost contact with our artist. We're looking for an artist to help us finish our game.

Of course, You don't have to match the style, You can be as creative as you can.

Looks a bit like the style of Don't Starve. If you could find a fan of that game whose also an available game artist, you'd be in business.

Hmm, yea it's kinda Don't Starve and the story more like But that was [yesterday] but it has many differences of these games.... However, we're changing our style from hand painted to pixel. Main problem is not the fact that there is no money offered.

Main problem, IMHO, is that there's no mention of any plan to make some...

 

Now for some people, it's not a problem, but for me, it is one, since I know that I will have to be fully committed to the project to deliver a satisfying result, not a joke of a job that I would be shameful to show, even to my mom.

 

I mean, we all have a limited life span, personal projects, we need to eat, pay the bills, and spare some money for our old days.

(not to mention invest in new hardware)

 

I think if you can come up with a descent business plan/business road map, more people would be willing to join, in exchange for a percentage over the eventual future benefits.

As a team leader, which I assume is the role you want to play and maintain in this project, that's something you must provide in order to justify your position, and let the rest of the team focus only on what they do best (code, graphics, sound,youNameIt).

 

But that's just my opinion.

You're absolutely right.

I was project leader, but now there's another one.

There's plans to make money. We have many options and we're thinking of them all.

We also have an artist, we're only looking for a JS coder and we'll have the team ready.
