Overheat while running on mobile

Hi I am working on a game with Phaser. Currently we are facing problem that the device temperature keep raising even we enter the game and just let the game stay in the game screen without actually playing. And battery also drain fast, about 1% drop in 90 seconds.

We have been trying to shrink the rubbish code and stop unnecessary logic during run-time but seems didn't help much. Are there any suggestions or "best practice" that we should pay attention to when we are working with Phaser engine?
