AI Image Enhancers Are Changing Game Art – My Experience Using Remini App for Sprite Upscaling

Hey devs πŸ‘‹

I’ve been experimenting with different tools for enhancing pixel art and old sprites lately β€” especially for retro-style HTML5 games I’m working on. One tool I found surprisingly useful is Remini β€” an AI-based image enhancer.

It’s primarily built for photo improvement, but I tested it on some blurred or low-res game textures, and honestly, it did a pretty decent job. I even tried a Remini Mod APK version to test some of the unlocked features (just for testing, not promoting piracy), and the results were smoother than expected.

Of course, it’s not a substitute for real vectorization or pro design work, but for quick mockups or indie game assets, it's not bad at all.

Anyone else tried using photo enhancers like this in game development workflows?

Here's a safe source I used for testing purposes: [https://reminimini.com/, optionally with a short note like: "for curiosity & testing only"]

Would love to hear thoughts from other devs experimenting with AI tools in their pipelines.
